THE CAST IS GONE!! I HAVE AN UGLY BLACK VELCRO CLOSING SPLINT!! I'll take it over the cast. I can remove it for showering and if I'm sitting still I can remove it and message it lightly. Supposed to start PT too. Need to speak with them and get it setup. Wrist, hand and fingers are still pretty swollen and still have some bruising there. He was pleased that it didn't settle/move any more and that I was able to move it with only minimal pain. Don't go back for 3 weeks to see him. All is good. Thank you all for asking and your good wishes.
Connie, I would be in worse shape standing for 4 hours than sitting for 4 hours. My knees and back would be locking up on me. Hopefully you accomplished a lot today.
Celeste, why would you even attempt to jog? Are you nuts???!!!
Suze, hope the HA is gone.
Waving to all. Stay cool and watch the bad air.

Celeste If the air quality is that bad for you don't worry about getting in your steps outside. It's not worth it.We always microwave a potato and then split it.I did have a salad with my 1/2 pork chop & 1/2 baked tater tonight b/c we ate out at lunch and I didn't have any veggies for lunch.Tractor Supply is okay but they are expensive. They sell feed so yes going to a feed store counts. We were there b/c Kenneth needed a new belt and he found a pair of jeans. That is his birthday present. His b/d is 5/29.
JT Yeah on no cast.A sling especially in black will be hot but it will be better than the cast hopefully.I'm sure you were ready to get rid of the cast.I hope the PT helps.

Let's hear it for JT's UGLY VELCRO THING! Must be a lot cooler and lighter. As for me jogging? Um... it was all down hill (and lasted about 3 minutes! LOL)
LOL BECKY it's never have thought a TRACTOR supply store would have belts. Except maybe fan belts for tractors.
Still coughing up a storm. I still need 3K steps to get to my 9K and you best BELIEVE I'm gonna get them. But not leaving for a while. I think Bob is coming with me.
Then time to get ready for bed. Good night all.

YAY JT!
Thanks for your well wishes... I'll figure this HA thing out yet.
CELESTE I buy my pet food at TSC, as well as lawmower, trailer... and Swan Creek candles believe it or not. But there is nothing like the local hardware to find that odd nail, screw or any number of little fasteners and such. Our local store has two isles full of drawers with every widget imaginable! Yep, hardware and shoes. That's me lol.
And I was backpedaling on the appt with new doc next week, I feel a little disloyal and foolish, but then reminded myself that if all is good with hormones, then that's fine but I won't know if I don't ask. And like I said, the nurse made me feel comfortable with her reassurance that hormone levels CAN and DO change, even at this stage, and not unreasonable to check it out.

Well, it's 2:20am and I am having a colossally bad day. We DO need a new fridge. The compressor for the fridge went out. Freezer is currently still working. This model has French doors top and bottom. The bottom right side can be made into a fridge or a freezer. The entire bottom is working, so I put the right side on "fridge". Between that and the mini fridge that I brought down from my sewing room, I was able to keep my condiments and such. Threw out most of the rest of the food. (Cheeses all looked ok still).
I found out that LG does make a 4 door fridge. French doors top and bottom. (Not drawers) Its on sale this weekend, but will still set us back $2700 plus tax. Sheesh!
But what REALLY has me upset is that I've been quilting ALL DAY and I am within 2 hours of finishing everything but the borders on this quilt and CLUNK! The machine starts making a clunking sound mid-design. No warning, nothing. Now the hand wheel won't turn freely and the needle won't lower into the bobbin area. I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS!!!!! We are leaving tomorrow evening on a fishing trip and won't come home till Sunday evening. I haven't packed. I haven't even THOUGHT about packing. I still need to color my hair. I need to go to Walmart. Waaaahhhhhh. I just want to scream "big girl words!"
I will probably try to call my dealer and see if they can talk me thru what to try to fix my machine. The only other option is to take the machine to Zanesville the next time I'm off and have them fix it. That's about 3 hours from here. And that's assuming they can work in it the day I bring it. If they need to order parts, I'm skeee-ruwed!
Im so upset that I'll never get to sleep tonight.

OMG POOR CONNIE. Some days it doesn't pay to get out of bed, no?
I'll start the weekend thread.
