Just checking in for the day so I can be accountable I've made it through 5 days without overeating, hope I can continue on track this week. I'm planning to go grocery shopping one day this week and it makes me nervous. I used to be pretty good at passing up the temptations in the store, but this year I've had a tougher time not buying junk. I've made my list and hopefully I'll just stick to it and not bring anything I can't control into the house. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans.

Good morning! Our home air conditioner is blowing, but not cold air. We have used the same repair company for over 20 years, and their google/yelp reviews are awful but we only ever had 1 issue with them(over a warranty on a circuit board)and they remedied it quickly. I have to think that "brand loyalty" does pay off in some cases. I just called and he said they'd be here before noon.

I use Kroger, Walmart and HEB pickup so I can avoid the temptations lol.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today I made it through the grocery store (actually went in 3 different ones searching for yogurt) without buying any junk I also didn't stop at any fast food place, so I'm glad I was able to resist all of that. I've been sticking to my plan but have to fight the desire to overeat. I guess that will never go away.

Good morning
DotRen, hope you got the air conditioner fixed!! That's a good idea to order your food and pick it up.
cj59, so proud of you!! What kind of yogurt do you like?
Waving to all
Lacking in the exercise department. I think I will go to the Mall and walk later. So hot/humid here.

Good morning! A/C is fixed -for now. The system is about 10 years old, and they don't last much longer than that here on the coast between the: heat, humidity, salt air and close chemical plants crap in the air. I'm hoping we can just replace the outside part because the condenser coils are corroded (and cause the need for replacement). The heat unit in the attic is fine. Yesterday was: the capacitor blew; the contactor was damaged and it needed to be disassembled and cleaned. It only took a couple of hours, but they were running late because we had a surprise rain storm.
cj great on the shopping trips! My downfall is night time snacking. I have to make more effort in that area. I "save" points for it, but I know that I do best when I do not snack after dinner, regardless of points.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing wellt oday
sunrose - I do all my walking inside my house. I may not get my heart rate up as high as I would outside, but it's safer and easier for me. I hope you are able to go to the mall and get in your walk.
DotRen - I'm glad you AC is fixed. If you live in Texas I'm sure it's hot there. I've solved the nighttime snacking thing by setting a rule that I can't eat after a certain time of night and I brush my teeth at that time so I won't eat. I do try to have one little snacky type food after dinner before I stop my eating.
The yogurts that I like are the Yoplait Greek 100 Whips and the Yoplait Greek 100 regulars. I know they are not WW point friendly on the Freestyle plan, but on the old Momentum plan they are just 2 points. I did find some Light and Fit yogurts that are good too. I like the Tiramisu, Boston Crème Pie and Caramel Apple ones of those. They also had some limited edition Pumpkin and I bought a few of them.
I like to have a yogurt almost every day and adding fruit to plain yogurt just doesn't excite me, I like the ones with flavor and some sugar.
I'm doing pretty well and sticking to my plan. Just have to keep plugging along each day

cj59, I still have some momentum cookbooks The OUI yogurt is so good, I am not sure what the points would be but it's 7 on freestyle lol.

Good morning
DotRen, that's good you got the A/C fixed for now.
cj59, I like the light/fit yogurt. I use to love the lemon, but they don't make that anymore. I also like the vanilla and lime. I add fruit to all of them. I need to look for the pumpkin!!
I did much better yesterday with food and steps. I need to work on that again today. Waving to all.

For lemon, I use plain f/f yogurt (fage, siggis- a less tangy tasting one) and add a little sweetener, lemon juice and zest to give it a good, lemony flavor

Hello Everyone sunrose - I'm glad to hear you did well on your food and steps yesterday, hope today goes well too. I also mix fruit into my yogurt a lot of the time. Today I'm having some Black Cherry yogurt with a serving of Cherry Berry Blend frozen fruit (that I thaw). DotRen - thanks for the info on how you make your "lemon yogurt". I'd been resisting using the fat free yogurt to mix things into, but I need to try it. I'm sticking to my plan today but I really wish I could get to a point where I don't think about food all day. It's kind of driving me crazy From the first food I have for the day I'm constantly thinking about when I can eat again and I'm back to where I'm eating every hour. I know that I need to distract myself and do other things, and believe me there are a lot of things that need done around this house, but all I can think of and plan is the food. I know I probably need some therapy or some kind of outside help to motivate me to stop thinking about food constantly but I haven't figured out what that is. I do have hobbies and other things I could be doing, but I'm just over focused on the food. Hope you are all having a good day and doing well on your plans.

Good morning
DotRen, love the picture. It's always nice to see a pic of who you are talking to. Thanks for sharing how you do the yogurt.
cj59, you are doing good. I feel your pain about thinking of food so much. Reading a good book helps me.
Amy, Good luck with nutrisystem!!
Met step goal yesterday. I will do the same today. Stuck to the plan except that darn bowl of cereal/almond milk late. Baby steps, baby steps.

Thank you Amy I think walmart carries the 5 day kits for nutrisystem (or they used to). I picked one up one time and I remember thinking the blueberry muffin was very good lol.
