It makes one wonder, if we will ever see another President, like those of past generations, who ran for President because of patriotism & love of country vs love of power & money. JA has taken this country to a new low. Can we get much lower?!?...Hopefully, after JA is kicked to the curb, there will be no where to go but UP!
Its a snowy wintery day here. Actually, kind of peaceful & beautiful. Makes one just want to snuggle in with a good movie or book. Which I may just do....:-)
I'm afraid to ask if we can "get much lower," as every time I think this JA has brought us to absolute rock bottom he starts digging and carries us even further down. I hope we will someday get back to a place where being a public servant is considered noble, where our leaders actually love our country and want what's best for it. I truly don't understand how we let that slip away, but certainly we don't have it now. We're not even close to being a shining city on a hill any longer, and that is very sad indeed.
Linda, snuggling in with a good book or movie sounds like a good idea. It's very warm here, but raining, windy, and just generally yucky. I have a load of clothes in the washer, and I'm trying to motivate myself to get something accomplished but not making a lot of progress there. How on earth did we get to December 1st already?! It just dawned on me that we probably need to start a new thread, so I'll go do that.
