just shows you how much time i don't have to read what i want to. Free Kindle eBooks has guaranteed that I shall never want for something to read, nor shall I run out of unread books in my lifetime.

DebDoesWW, zazzles, please explain the free kindle unlimited. When I click on the link it says kindle unlimited is a trial offer only and then I have to pay. I'm an Amazon Prime member but this offer seems different.

linda72 click the other link, I think it says ābuy it now with 1-clickā or something like that, it is the second choice. Always make sure the price is $0.00 since sometimes these expire by the time you may check out the link. š

zazzles, glad Deb got here to explain it. Apparently Amazon has changed the behavior of the Free Kindle Unlimited button, because it used to subscribe you without giving you the chance to verify. I got caught by that a couple of times and had to go to battle with them to get it cancelled and refunded.

I can definitely recommend Beatriz Williams and her books. I've read: "Summer Wives", "The Secret Life of Violet Grant" and " Along the Infinite Sea" and all were good. She has many others to choose from.

I just started 'Smoke' by Catherine McKenzie. I'm enjoying it. I will look for some of her other books after this one.

This is the 1st book in a four-book series that you could sub-title Auntie Mame and Nephew Turn Sleuths. Partners In Crime (Hubbert & Lil Cozy Mystery Series Book 1)
I started this series when this book was offered as a free Kindle book a couple of years ago. Some time in the last year the entire four-book set was offered free for Kindle, so I picked it up. I completed the last book in the series a month ago. These are light reads and entertaining.

alias123,- sorry I just checked back in. You can read one second after by itself. I didn't even know it was a series. Just finished the Orphan train- It was very good. I was going to get "The Tatooist at Auchiwisch" but just didn't think I could handle it. It was historical fiction but the main character was real and at the end it told what really happened to him- he did survive- I peeked.

I just finished and enjoyed a lot Spaceman: An Astronaut's Unlikely Journey to Unlock the Secrets of the Universe By Mike Massimino. It's a terrific memoir. With the 50th anniversary of the moon landing coming up in July I thought I would read a few non fiction books about space travel. Two more memoirs that I'm reading and enjoying are: Since this is a hardcover edition this is my read at home book - Becoming by Michelle Obama My subway book on the Kindle is: In Pieces
by Sally Field

I just finished reading the Kate Burkholder Amish murder mystery novel series by Linda Castillo. At least all the ones I could access through the library ebook system. They are a fast read and good for stationary bike riding. I think there are 3 short stories and the last book published in 2019 that I haven't read yet, so I am looking for a new series.

I'm reading another orphan train book called "the placing out in America". This is more a detailed history and as many stories of the actual people who were on the train or adopted the kids.
I'm also reading "Dear God, save us from your believers", again. It's about how some Christians can push people away by being too strict, judgmental, etc. It's very interesting
