Need some new titles to start off the year. I went back to Jodi Picoult for my last book. Read "Mercy" and enjoyed it. I love British mystery novels. Have read all of Deborah Crombie; Susan Hill; Louise Penney. Looking for new suggestions and hearing about what you have read. Marie

I just finished "Need to Know" by Karen Cleveland. Quick read but a real page turner. She is a former CIA analyst and put together a good story. Her next book will be out this spring and I will get it also. DH and DD both liked it.

I am currently reading a memoir. Dancing through it by Jenifer Ringer. She was a NYC ballet dancer.
Next up are two for the NY Times / PBS book club that I follow. The books are discussed on their Facebook page. The groups name is: Now Read This. Both are non-fiction.
1- There will be no miracles here-a memoir by Casey Gerald
2- Heart- A history by Sandeep Jauhar

I've been doing more reading lately, but it's mostly been re-reading old favorite. I finished Rosamund Pilcher's "The Shell Seekers", "Winter Solstice" and "Coming Home", Jame's Mitchner's "Hawaii" and I'm just starting his "Centennial", which I don't remember at all.

The Knowledge by Martha Grimes - it is a Richard Jury book. (Scotland Yard but very quirky.) . Like the Louise Penny books, there is a group of characters that are friends with Jury. MarieL, Have you read the Reginald Hill books?

I just finished Kingdom of the Blind by Louise Penny. Now I'm reading Yule Log Murder - 3 short stories by Leslie Meier, Lee Hollis and Barbara Ross. Each story features a yule log.

I keep my car radio on PBS all the time. Does PBS have a radio station ? Maybe you are thinking of NPR. On PBS NewsHour at the end of each month they have the author on for a brief interview and announce the next book. They do continue the interview online.

I always have a book in the wings to read. I read, review and repeat. Over a book a day read and reviewed this year...so...
English Mysteries by: * Anne Perry (She has two historical murder mysteries...started reading her when Cater Street Hangman came out but have not kept up as books are not readily available here in Lebanon) * Elizabeth George: Was taken with her books and the series but lost them them at some point
I have a few favorite authors I read and review for but am not 100% sure what type of books you like.
One series that I have thoroughly enjoyed is set during the Space Race of the 60's...a time I was a child/teen. It is written by Genevieve Turner and Emma Barry - Fly Me To The Moon (I think)
Rather than tell you what I have read...and they are multitude...will post the link so you can look through, see the covers and then see if any are of interest. I do have a blog: cathygeha.tumblr.com/
