I am halfway done with Dan Silva’s The New Girl. Next will be Colson Whitehead’s The Nickel Boys and Elin Hildebrand’s Summer of 69.

I'm enjoying the audio book The Alice Network by Kate Quinn. Just finished Liane Moriarty's Nine Perfect Strangers (started great, went WAY off the rails, but managed to recover) and Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I did an audio book for Daisy Jones and it was great. Not sure how it would be in print.

Reading a book a day (or so)
Tonight's book is one by Laura Trentham for a book tour later this week.
Tweeted release day greetings for six or so authors of books released today Looking forward to more reading in the future. Have a blog where I post reviews and might share someday.
I keep thinking that reading books is like stepping into the minds of others...we can get out...they can't...at least not until they finish the book and start another.

I usually skip on the monthly free Amazon Prime books, but this month I read and enjoyed Valencia and Valentineby Suzy Krause and enjoyed it quite a bit. Once upon a time I thought the free monthly Amazon Prime books were a deal until I realized that they never had any books that interested me. But I was told of a 3rd party web site, BookBub.com, which tailors information about offers to your own tastes. You create a free acount, select the genres you’re interested in, and get daily emails with offers that include both free and reduced-price books. The books being offered are often on sale for just one day. But I’ve built up a huge number of free mysteries that I’m working my way through slowly. Z, I got just an email from another eBook site that I forgot about that tells you about sales. Rebecca at Riffle Also Amazon eReaderIQ Daily
