I swear "I meant to do it" and "I was going to do that" are the phrases that will be listed on my divorce papers lol.

dotren, lol no I was not chasing it. Too funny on the divorce papers. Are you going to a farmers market today?
Waving to all
I worked again in the yard yesterday and this morning. I'm done for today. Still more to do. Ugh...but it's looking nice.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend sunrose - that was a lot of steps, good for you! Hope you get rid of your mice soon. DotRen - Sorry you didn't get to go to the market this weekend, maybe a lot of vendors weren't there because of the holiday, or maybe they were there because of the holiday I haven't been eating well, so there's nothing to say about that. Still trying to get in some healthy foods each day and my steps. Hope everyone else checking in is doing well on their plans.

Hello!! cj59 , Love the video! Great job getting your steps and healthy foods in! I'm still working on the habits I have, but I think it's almost time to add one more in. Maybe the multivitamin would be an easy one. sunrose49 , I've never even come close to 20K! You're amazing! Good luck getting the mouse out, unwanted guests are no fun. And I would love to be good at yardwork, sadly I am still trying to curb my black thumb. I have only three house plants and they all have had brushes with death at my hands. The sturdiest one has been with me since the apartment days six years ago. I found it by the dumpster, so I think it's just grateful because it's a rescue plant. DotRen , So smart not going to the baked goods farmers market! That sounds like a very dangerous place. Like the dreaded cake walk! Kudos for being an awesome doggy mama too (as always)! I have been busy, but happily chipping away at the weight! I'm amazed I survived this week with errands and kid-events. I think that phase of parenting is finally starting to kick in. lol I just fought the urge to have ice cream, so I'm proud of that. I still have to track the food from today, but aside from an abnormal breakfast-time snack attack (I think I waited too long to eat), I had a great on plan day. Tomorrow will involve fast food with family (I don't know what from where) so I'm trying to make the other two meals lower to prepare for the unknown. Though it is Easter, so a Cadbury egg is a must, but I'm gonna try to just have one. Wish me luck! Good luck to all of you on your plans!

Good morning and Happy Easter
irisinnia, good to see you. Good luck with one Cadbury egg. Six years keeping the plant alive is great! My sister has a black thumb too.
cj59, at least you are still getting in some healthy stuff!!
dotren, I thought you had said you were going to skip it, but wasn't totally sure.
Waving to everyone
It will be a quiet day. I did catch the mouse. I'm sure there will be more break ins. About twice a year I deal with this. I live in the country--a small neighborhood. So lots of critters around.
Enjoy your day what ever you decide to do.

irisinnia, I got a laugh about the plants. I think we're related lol. I just peet potted my basil and jalapeno seeds, will see how that goes. I told DH I want to buy 3 tomato plants, not sure which yet, and try again. I might get a couple of jalapeno plants, or banana pepper, too. Home depot had these wheeled planters on sale for $19.99 so I ordered 2 of them in hopes they might help. planters
The day after holidays is my candy weakness. I star away from the stores because 1/2 off suckers me in lol. cj59, you'll get back at the eating Sometimes we just need a break from "diet thinking". sunrose49, glad you caught it. Ours end up in the pantry and it's usually a full day of taking everything out, inspecting it for chew marks and washing the cans with bleach and water. Last time I bought a bunch of plastic containers to put the packs of pasta, rice and things like that in, hoping they wouldn't find any easy source of food.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are enjoying the holiday weekend irisinnia - I'm glad to hear you are doing well and working on incorporating good habits. sunrose - Glad you caught the mouse, maybe the rest will go on vacation until later in the year DotRen - I've grown the jalapeno plants before and I think they are pretty easy to take care of and can really produce a lot. I don't have a green thumb either I'm finishing up the Easter candy today that I had saved - a Russell Stover Marshmallow Egg and some Peeps. I'm glad there are no "candy" holidays until Halloween Hope everyone else checking in is doing well.

Quick good morning:) It's meal prep day here. 1. Murrays food for the next 2 weeks. I think I'm going to keep his food clean with just duck, yellow squash and green beans since he had this skin breakout, I realize I added kale and pears to his last batch, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it or if it's environmental because of all the pollens. I might add unsweetened baby applesauce for the "flavor" since he seems fine with apples. 2. Son wants pasta salad with the leftover ham from yesterday, that's easy enough. I grabbed a bottle of Kroger brand zesty Italian salad dressing and it's really sweet, none of us liked it lol. 3. prepping some chicken thighs for dinner tonight and to freeze. Leaving the skin on about 1/2 and air frying the rest of the skin for "chicken rinds" (lol -you've heard of pork rinds, same idea just with chicken instead). 4. Making about 6 servings of cauliflower rice, just simply sauteed and frozen for individual things for me.
Some days I'm sad we got rid of the big freezer we kept in the garage. We had it forever until it died one day. I told DH we need another one. He said "after hurricane season" lol. I know it's a bad idea to keep a freezer or fridge in the garage, especially here where it gets so hot, but they sure are handy.

Good morning Update: caught another mouse! That's 4 now in just a little over a week. They usually get in my pantry too. I have to inspect for bites and I use wipes to clean things. cj59, I know no more candy holidays until Halloween!! I thought about jellybeans yesterday, but resisted. dotren, good for you prepping for the week. I have my parents box freezer in my basement. It comes in handy, but only holds so much. Waving to all More yard work today. I had so many birds yesterday at my feeders. The hawks were around and then a feral cat showed up. Maddie knows I do not like them around the feeders so she was very busy yesterday chasing them off....lol Have a great Monday!!

Hello Everyone DotRen - good for you with the meal prep. I've found it really helped me to stay on track when I did that. I sometimes just do it in the morning for that day too. sunrose - I get hawks too and try to "shoo" them away. I also have a problem with pigeons eating a lot of my birdseed. I wish I could just feed the birds I like I haven't been tracking lately and I have to admit it's been a nice break. I know I'll have to get back to it, but I was just giving myself a breather. I'm hoping to get strongly back on track in May. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans.

We get these huge blue jays here. The worst are the mockingbirds, they will dive bomb you if you get anywhere near their nests lol. Since we have a lot of trees, anywhere in the yard is "near their nest". Poor Murray gets twitchy when it's egg laying season lol. They've chased him back in the house more than once.
