Hello Everyone - Hope you are enjoying your weekend sunrose - I'm sure it's tough coming back from vacation. irisinnia - Sounds like you are working your plan too. I liked doing the Beck "things" when I was following it, I do think a lot of those habits are great to incorporate for lifetime skills. I can't say I'm eating that great right now, but at least I'm meeting the 4 daily goals of my 100 challenge. I think I'll add another one or two in November and hopefully start eating better then. DotRen - Hope you enjoy the chili. I've been enjoying reading the rumors about the new plan coming in November. I'm kind of impressed that WW is going to offer 3 plans at once. After watching the video on the Green program by "N is for Nurse" on youtube, I think that might be a plan I could do. I need to get in the right mindset for focusing on eating well again before I would join though. I'd also like to hear what people think of the new plans first.

Good morning
I went to a Celebration of Life for little Maddie yesterday. It was so amazing. I don't eat beef or hot dogs so I at pasta salad, chicken nuggets, cheese, crackers and veggies dipped in Ranch Dip....lol not a good WW day. Scale is way up from vacation and yesterday. I really need to get my act together.
cj, I plan on continuing WW meetings because I do enjoy them and get good info. I will share with you what I find out and what program I will be doing.
irisinnia, sounds like you are doing good.
dotren, my grandmother made such good bread pudding. I tried following the same recipe and it never tasted like her's. Of course my sister's does...lol
Waving to anyone I missed.

Hello everyone! cj59, Solid plan! That's great that you're keeping up with your 4 goals. I can't even keep up with tracking half the time. But that changes today. I have to stick to it. sunrose49, That is a lot going on. I'm glad the celebration of life was good. I'd say give yourself credit for the things you did right over the vacation and just start fresh today. You can't change the past and you were doing important things. It's the regular old days where weight loss is top priority. DotRen, Thank you so much for the recipe! I cannot wait! DH won't touch it but I know my little ones are going to love it (they like whatever I like). I planned what I was going to eat today. Gotta make it fit in those points. I haven't weighed yet, because I'm scared, but I think I just need to do it and track it and let it go. Fun story: I showed DH my tracker on iTrackBites - because I was proud - and it had the secondary metrics on there of calories. I was at 1360 (exactly my daily points) and he said "Wait. Aren't you supposed to eat 2,000?" lol Obviously he's never been on a diet before. I hope everyone has a great day!

irisinnia, I do sometimes add black soy beans (Edens organics) if I want it heartier Since black soy beans are low carb and very high fiber, they are a nice occasional add-in Funny about calories and your husband quoting the USDA recommended lol. Of course, men can get away with that many calories sometimes. sunrose49, good going on the controlled eating at the celebration Group things can be a real challenge. cj59, cheering you on

Hello Everyone sunrose - I'm glad you were able to attend the celebration of life and I know you'll get back on track with your eating. Thanks for offering to let me know how the new program is in November irisinnia - That is funny about your husband thinking you should eat 2000 calories. How nice it must be for people who never have to think about how much they are eating each day, I can't imagine how that would be after an adult lifetime of thinking about it all the time. Hope your weigh-in goes well. DotRen - Hope you are still enjoying your chili. I haven't eaten very well today, but I'm letting it go. I know every day can't be perfect. Take care everyone!

Good morning
irisinnia, that was too funny what your husband said. Thanks for the encouragement.
dotren, how are you doing? How is your dog and son and DH? Any more farmer markets?
cj, I didn't eat well yesterday. Like your "I know every day can't be perfect."
I didn't do the best yesterday, but I too am not letting go. I am blessed to get a new day to make it right.

Good morning! sunrose49, So far so good *knock on wood* We skipped the market Saturday because it was pretty chilly and I didn't really need anything. Since Ron is on low-carb with me, I've just been buying eggs at the store (pasture raised eggs are about $1 less per dozen at the store than the farmers market anyway). The veggie vendor said November before he has cabbage, turnips, cauliflower, broccoli or rutabagas, so next month we'll go Murray is fine, he's lost some fur on his tail and we're thinking it's because he's laying on it outside in the grass. Keeping an eye on it in case it gets worse. Other than that. he's doing great. Son is being a pain in the butt lol -but that's normal How are you? cj59, and irisinnia, good morning! Hope you had a nice weekend

Hello Everyone sunrose - You have a great attitude, and you are right that we are blessed each time we have another day to get things right. DotRen - I'm glad things are still going well with the food and your DH, I'm sure it's helping you a lot with meals. Sounds like November will be a good time at the market. amyrs - Good luck with getting to your weight loss goal - You Can Do It!! I'm doing better today and meeting all my 100 Day Challenge goals. I'm finding it easier to get my steps and exercise in each day too. I'm sorry I let myself get out of the habit of doing that from the last several years.

Good morning dotren, sounds like the family is doing good. My son can be a TB sometimes...lol I love cabbage. The market should be good next month. They are all closed here now. Amy, you can do it. I have 65 to lose. I get over whelmed by it but I know I need to look a small chunks at a time. cj, good for you on sticking to your 100 day challenge! I have let myself get out of the habit of exercise and need to get back into it. I did better yesterday, but the scale stayed the same Comes on so easy and off so hard. I saw a couple side pictures of me on FB from the celebration and still cannot believe I have gotten so big. I was always so good about keeping my weight down. I will go to WW this coming Saturday. I have not been for 3 weeks now. I was going to go to jazzercise this morning, but opted out. I will go Thursday. I will do a WATP later.

sunrose - I'm glad you are motivated to get to your meeting and not give you. You know what to do to get on track. Good luck It's a beautiful day here and I wish sometimes I could walk outside, but I don't live in a safe area and I'm not driving all over the place to look for one But I am getting in my steps in the house, so that works for me. Can I ask a dumb question? What does WATP stand for? Thanks! Hope everyone checking in is doing well.

cj, that's not a dumb question. It's "Walk Away The Pounds" Sorry you can't walk outside. The weather here in my neighborhood has been great. Today it is raining.
Waving to all
I am getting a pedicure this afternoon and then dinner with a friend.

I have caregivers 6 times a week. Today Vanessa read my scale. I gained 3 lbs from last week when we weighed on my scale. Threw out the whole wheat pasta. 1320 calories starting today 9 points.

Hello Everyone sunrose - Thanks for explaining that acronym to me Hope you enjoy your pedicure and dinner with your friend. amyrs - The scales can fluctuate so much, I know how frustrating that is. We just want the numbers to go down. I'm doing pretty well today, but didn't meet all of 100 day challenge goals. I came to realization that I didn't have to be perfect with this, but I just had to try. That helps me stay on track. Hope everyone else is doing well today.

I have not been doing my daily 8 minutes of WATP. I ate only the 3 cups of cottage cheese today in 6 servings 3 apples and an orange. I was well satisfied. I will do this tomorrow and Friday, I just hope Saturday I don't gain. at WW.
