*twirls* it is so nice to have a program back that actually has people losing weight instead of maintaining (or gaining) on.
So how is it going now that it has been a few weeks?

I lost 6 pounds in the 3 weeks I've been on, so I'm pretty happy with that considering the pie and everything else Thanksgiving weekend lol.

I've been losing with a gain from an overnight trip to New York City, but it disappeared last night at weigh-in. I'm still suspicious of my body and how well I'll stay on the program so I need another month or two to make a decision. I have winter depression so this time of year I say I'll know how I'm doing at my weigh-in the first Monday in April. (Often by January I'm into portion creep.) I am happy to have a program back I feel comfortable tracking on.
I have lost down from being almost on top of my goal weight.

amyrs I saw in your other post where you are now eating just 15 points a day on green. That just isn't enough. I know you are on a budget and don't have access to a stove. So let's see if we can come up with something so you can stay on track and don't keep switching programs because you get tired of what you are eating 😊 Now, just eating 3 cans of tuna daily would have me nutso after day one. Instead of just eating one main food per day how about shaking things up. I know you have access to cottage cheese, peanut butter, tuna, Lean cuisines, and bread. How about alternating tuna and PB & J sandwiches on a daily basis. Along with a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese and a single serving of the canned fruit in its own juice. And then a single Lean cuisine for dinner? Bags of apples are on sale this time of year for reasonable prices too and that would help with a fuller feeling. Another affordable side would be canned vegetables so you would get veggies in each day. Canned beans/black eyed peas that you could cook in microwave and you could add a box of pasta in, deli ham and have several meals out of it. Also canned soups. I saw you threw away a bag of chips, another idea is to put them in baggies for single portions and toss them in the freezer.

amyrs , I'd add some real mayonnaise or some olive oil to the tuna, maybe some hard boiled eggs. Your body needs fat, and you can certainly add some with the super low points you're doing Tuna with canned beans and light Italian dressing makes a filling and tasty low-point dish, too -very budget friendly DebDoesWW , ooh -blackeyed peas and rice was always a favorite meal of mine growing up -they called it Hoppin John Great idea

After only a couple of weeks, I am seeing a downward trend, but I am somewhere in between this program and points plus. amyrs , I agree with DebDoesWW . Please strive to eat in a healthy way that you can continue to follow the rest of your life. Don't do anything to lose weight that you aren't willing to do forever, or as soon as you quit, the pounds come right back. I love tuna, but shudder at the thought of eating it daily. Check out some of the threads where people list what they are eating and you may get some good ideas.

It has been going pretty well for me. In the first 3 weeks I ended each week with between 1 to 4 SP left. I did dual track calories and ended up at average calories for each week of 1163, 1194 and 1165 with a goal of 1200. Basically if I am going to end the week without exceeding weeklies I usually end up with an average a little under 1200. I find that on days I eat at home without getting takeout I can easily stay in the 26 to 30 SP range, sometimes even less than 26. On days I do eat out that is when I use most of my weekly points. If we get takeout I will usually use some weekly points but not a lot. I do occasionally use a few weekly points even when I eat at home but I am not extreme about it.
I am eating a bit healthier than I was before. I was often staying within calories but eating too many snacks. I find that I am starting to ratchet those down a bit as they tend to really add points. This week I have been making a real effort to eat more veggies. We have been remodeling our house for the last 5 months and I really got out of the habit of making food at home or even eating frozen meals. I was getting a lot of takeout and eating out and I slacked off on eating veggies. I am really making an effort to have veggies with both lunch and dinner. A low bar, I know, but still an improvement.
I do find I am liking green better than I ever liked Beyond the Scale. I think for a few reasons. Beyond the Scale always suffered in comparison to PP in many ways. But, it shines in comparison to Freestyle. So that helps. Also I have gotten used to the SP calculation over the last few years so I am not as shocked by high point foods. I better now how to balance those foods with lower point foods. The other thing is the 4 rollovers. That makes a huge difference and has made the difference each week in whether I went in the red.
Let me see...weight loss. Depends on how you look at it. Today I am down 2.9 pounds since 11/10. On the other hand, yesterday it would have been 3.8 pounds. (I ate out yesterday and so was up .9 pound this morning but I know it isn't "real."
Since I lose very slowly, I am quite happy with this.

thank you for your concern This past weekend ate and shared a pizza with Scott each day. I am getting lots of frozen peas tonight for delivery. I will start tomorrow. I will eat tuna in oil which I take the oil on the top off in sink. I am going to mix peas mixed with tun fish and fruit for desert. 6 meals a day. 26 points. Another thing tomorrow. I have 2 jugs filled with cold water. I have been drinking diet soda which is expensive. Tomorrow I will drink water. I ordered from Amazon some more gallon jugs. And 2 bottles I can put water in. They come Tuesday. This way I can afford peas instead of diet soda and tuna and oil and 2 cans of fruit with no added sugar 6 servings. Scott put the lean cuisines down stairs and he said people were taking them. This way I can fit the frozen peas in the kitchen freezer and the freezer in my bedroom. I am going to eat 3 cans of tuna fish . and 3 cups of peas. and 3 cups of fruit and no diet soda starting after I get the 6 extra jugs. So Wednesday I will start water. I will chill water Tuesday night I will change to water.
