Good morning and happy Sunday!
I took some advice I read online about adjusting to DST and moved our dinner up an hour last evening and then went to bed an hour earlier than usual. According to the article, our bio-rhythms are set around meals, so eating earlier tends to move everything else up. It worked for me, anyway, and I woke up feeling refreshed in spite of losing an hour. We went to Mass and coffee call afterwards, but haven't done much since other than read the news and nap (DH). It is sunny and should get up to 70 today, so I plan to play in the dirt, transplanting poinsettias and chrysanthemums in the yard.
We are struggling to plan meals with foods soft enough for DH to eat while he waits for his gums to heal and can't wear his partial. His mouth was quite sore after the dentist struggled to pull the remainder of the broken tooth out. It looks like tonight will be meatloaf, potatoes and carrots which I cook on the stove top in a dutch oven. The meatloaf comes out softer than one baked in the oven. Lunch will be a ham sandwich on Dave's Killer Bread, raw veggies and fruit.
Have a wonderful, restful day!

We have a simply perfect day. Plenty of sunshine and no wind make for great walking. We took full advantage. Miss LuLa pulled the leash as we were heading home....she was one and done LOL. Nice when they know their limitations Later I'll go out for another walk. I do want to read a bit seeing as I don't have much longer before the book gets poofed. This is a nothing book. Now I'm ready for something with more meat to it. Sue that was wonderful that the car was fixed earlier than normal. You got all your 'stuff' out of the way and then kicked back and enjoyed each others company. Win win. We are also going to do the corned beef in the instant pot. We were going to get it today, but I'm not in the mood to face the crowds. I'll wait till tomorrow or Tuesday to pick it up. Glad you also slept well. I had to LOL as I washed and folded a lot of the heavier clothes to get a jump start on switching over the closets What a great idea to move dinner up an hour to adjust to DST. Will have to remember that trick Thanks for sharing. Softer foods are hard to come by. That's a great idea to make the meatloaf in a dutch oven on top of the stove. Most definitely be softer. Have fun playing in the dirt I've tracked and planned my day. Now I'm going to sit and read a bit. Enjoy......

Hi all,
its been a busy weekend and fun with our adorable and happy little grandson. He’s so inquisitive and funny at 10 months and taking a few steps already. I pretty much spent the whole weekend playing with him other than making a few meals. I had a ball but am exhausted! He’s at that age where you can’t take your eyes off him but our house is not really child proofed so we moved some tables and furniture out of the family room so he could have a good area to play. It’s amazing how much his personality shines through and he seems to always be happy and easy going.
I cooked a couple meals meals last night and tonight we had pizza, salad and calamari. My DDIL was able to enjoy take out from her favorite places that cater to celiac disease.
Im going to have a tough time waking up tomorrow with the time change! We’ve had weekend news regarding the corona virus. Our university has canceled travel and events of over 100 people or so. My DD in CA us concerned becthey are talking about a shutdown of our DGDs elementary school. Yikes.
all for now and wish I had time for personal notes!
