Good morning. Yesterday I wasn't sitting all day and today but no counted "steps". Today I have a lot of errands so probably the same.
Cait: I look at your list and think "good for you 3.5 miles" It's nice to have a day "off" once in awhile and you are very consistent so hey, I hope you are enjoying your book.
Carol: I am so glad you got to see your family. Goodness, different strokes for different folks ... Not coming from snow I find it difficult to see why anyone would like it...bbrrrr.... Yes my foot is better. Just stuck in the middle of trying to get through 38 years of paperwork on a specific project as quickly as possible.
Have a great day ladies.

Good Morning Challengers!
Yesterday I did all 6 of my main HHs, stayed in my 💚 zone of pts.
My “KISS” HHs (Keep it Simple and Specific) - Avoid salted snacks: 💚 - JGTB: 💚
2 microhabits: - “50 pushaways”: 💚 - “No seconds with snack”: 💚
Yesterday we walked 2 mi. It was a heavy day for work.
CONNIE - I have some of those big sedentary projects in mind - but never seem to get around to them. Yes it’s hard to make time for exercise unless I can get a routine, but sometimes there’s a spontaneous impulse to “just do it!” The relaxing together in the morning in the hot tub sounds great! DH and I get into the morning relaxing on Saturdays before walking to get takeout lunch.
KELLY - GFY with the 8 mi weekend and back on track with OP yesterday.
CAROL - sheesh - my brain - I forgot you already did the Yellowstone trip LOL! Safe travels! Glad you could see the family.
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.

TUESDAY!
CONNIE— I hope your big project is a fun one, but I’m guessing it’s not. Sorry! I love snow, bright blue skies, steamy geysers; I don’t like ice, icy winds, below zero temps, and slick roads. Like many things, it’s a love-hate relationship!
KELLY — another good OP day & walking= GFY!
CAIT — back into your routine! WTG!
We had a pretty short driving day and ticked off 5 historical markers. You all will think we’re crazy, but we drove through a national grassland today, and for a long time we had pristine views of no fences, no power lines, no animals, no buildings, no people, no nothing! Just undulating areas of grass layered beneath a bright blue sky filled with puffy white clouds! Peaceful and amazing!
I walked farther than I intended when we got to the hotel, so I’m adding 2.5 miles.

Good Morning!!
Added 2 miles of WATP yesterday. Missed my outside walk as I was busy with other obligations during daylight.
Carol: Your drive through the national grasslands sounds heavenly. Good job on your walk.
Cait: Good job on getting back on track.
Connie: Hoping you will get some steps in today.
Waving to all. Happy walking!!

Good Morning Dimers!
Yesterday I did 3/6 of my main HHs, stayed up late reading and snacking but I chose snacks that weren’t as high pts and sodium, and I did JGTB. I stayed in my ❤️ zone of pts - a “better than” evening.
My “KISS” HHs (Keep it Simple and Specific) - Avoid salted snacks: N - JGTB: 💚

Yesterday we walked 2 mi.
CAROL - GFY with the 2.5 mi walk. I always especially enjoy a walk after a day of driving. I had limited interest in the grasslands when we drove through there 😂 Maybe I just didn’t take advantage of appreciating its value. I didn’t know it was a “national grasslands.” I can see how it could have a meditative effect.
KELLY - GFY getting in 2 mi WATP when the weather didn’t cooperate for a walk.
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.

TGIFRIDAY! WHOOPS! THURSDAY! KELLY -- good job with your walks and OP days! CAIT -- "half a loaf is better than none," or something like that! Actually, the national grassland we drove through is in Colorado, not the one in Nebraska. Not many people (myself included) could probably tell them apart! When you drove through Nebraska, you probably stayed on the interstate. Most people do, but they miss out on the true beauty of the state. Fun fact: Nebraska has more miles of river water than almost any state (except Alaska and Texas, I believe). Nebraska is also not flat! For example, the Sandhills are grass-covered sand dunes and are very hilly (also desolate). I don't work for the tourist commission, but next time you are driving this way, get off the interstate and explore a little. You won't be sorry! No walk for me today, but I stretched with a focus on strengthening my back muscles. Back to the pool tomorrow! 262/250 miles 67/75 stretching Stretching: 2018:141;2019:192; 2020:182 2021: Jan.15; February:13; March 16; April: 8/30

Good Afternoon Challengers!
Yesterday I did all 6 of my main HHs, stayed in my 💚 zone of pts. Made it through the danger time before bed. It’s like I have “Last call!” syndrome as bedtime approaches - last chance to eat.

Yesterday we walked 2 mi.
CAROL - LOL - my DH also thought today was Friday 🙄 I knew it was Thurs because of my follow up oral surgeon visit today. Probably the regrouping after travel threw you off. Enjoy your water aerobics today! Very interesting info about NE terrain etc. I’ll be eager to explore it we ever get back there! Yes doing half my HHs was way better than none! Small improvements make big differences over time. I can see the change when I remember how I used to binge 🥺
KELLY - GFY OP and 3 mi! Thanks for the encouragement. It’s significant when I notice I’m doing “better than” instead of “all or nothing” and throwing in the towel.
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.

Good Morning!!
I had a successful week. I lost weight despite last weekends eating. Finally below 130 for the first time in many years.
Carol: Sounds like a beautiful ride. I often like to take the roads less traveled when we go places. You see beautiful country and often come along the cutest towns with little shops and restaurants.
Cait: Great job with your miles. The " Last call" made me chuckle. I can't imagine you ever throwing in the towel. It is journey. It is Life.
Waving to all. Happy Walking!!
Have an AWESOME DAY!!

Yesterday we walked 2 mi in am. I had lots of steps during the day - went to follow up visit with oral surgeon, did errands. I don’t use a Fitbit type device, but my phone Health app said I had over 10k steps.
KELLY - yay you, weight under 130! Your work challenge must be motivating. Yes that “Last call!” thing is so strong. It’s like a ridiculous panic urge 🙄. Old habits. Well my “throwing in the towel” does happen on a moment’s impulse with the idea I can “just have a little” or get back on track later 😠. But I haven’t given up since coming back to WW in 2003 so that’s a major success 🥳

I am pretty sure it's FRIDAY!
KELLY -- great job on your loss! You should be very proud of your success!
CAIT -- It looks like you're back on track -- wtg! I had to laugh at "last call;" years ago I was actually walking up the stairs to go to bed when I thought to myself, "I forgot to have popcorn!" I actually turned around and popped (and ate) some corn! Sheesh!
It felt good to be back in the water today (3), but I found out the demolition is scheduled to begin in about two weeks (yay for eventual new pools, locker rooms, gyms, etc.). Consequently, they will probably not replace the hot water heater for the women's locker room until the remodel. I will probably start going to the other facility next week, at least on days I like to wash my hair.
I also stretched today.
