Good Morning Challengers
Yesterday I did all 6 of my main HHs, stayed in my đź’š zone of pts.
My “KISS” HHs (Keep it Simple and Specific) - Avoid salted snacks: 💚 - JGTB: 💚
1 microhabit: - “No seconds with snack”: 💚
Yesterday we walked 2.5 mi after breakfast, got some fruit and vegs at the Farmers Market at the park, and walked to pick up takeout lunch. I did my floor PT exercises 23 mins.
It was warm and I sat out on the patio in the afternoon while DH watched baseball. We’re planning to leave to go north next Saturday and it’ll be a lot colder! Also raining there, which is much needed.
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.

Yesterday we walked 4 mi for breakfast and later .6 mi to pick up takeout lunch. I did my floor PT exercises and some of the standing exercises 29 mins.
It was breezy and cool 70’s but we had lunch outside and sat out on the patio. I got some work done while DH watched baseball.
Beck Tip of the day: Monday Motivation: No matter how the weekend went, Monday is always an opportunity for a fresh start. Starting right now, give yourself credit for every positive thing you do towards meeting your weight loss goals. It will help you feel better, raise your confidence, and give you motivation to keep going.Â
KELLY - GFY 6 mi over the weekend.
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.

Yesterday we walked 2.1 mi before breakfast. I did my floor PT exercises and one of the standing exercises 24 mins.
I did 3 loads of laundry and I thought I could fit it in with work, but sheesh I didn’t have as much time available for work as I expected 🤨.
Beck Tip of the day: Tuesday Reality Check: If healthy eating feels really depriving to you, you may be giving food a bigger role than it deserves. Food is a pleasure in life, but it’s not the only one. Try building other sources of pleasure and excitement. You’ll rely less on food to be “fun,” and healthy eating will be easier.Â
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.

Yesterday we walked 2.1 mi before breakfast.
I had to go out yesterday and was running late to be able to make my lunch, but I made a small quickie version of it, ate a little of it, took the rest with me, got things done, then finished it. This worked out so much better than last Fri when I just postponed eating and kept trying to get things done and ended up very uncomfortably hungry.
Beck Tip of the day: Wednesday Sabotage: It’s okay to eat extra because it’s a rare treat, and I never get to have it. Response: Just because I don’t come in contact with this food often, doesn’t mean I couldn’t seek it out; there is almost no food that I couldn’t buy or make 365 days a year. I don’t need to overdo it now because I can ALWAYS get it again.
KELLY - GFY OP and 4 mi despite the craziness with work. Keeping your sanity and focus in those situations can be difficult. It’s great you’ll have next week off! Plans?
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.

Good Morning!!
I added 2 miles yesterday. On my days off we may take some day trips to enjoy the changing leaves. I may be having some dental work done so it will depend on how I feel.
Biggest plan is hoping not to have to use the word COVID in my conversation. I'm so tired of the misinformation that people believe. Biggest one is so many think once you get it you are good forever. Unfortunately that is not the case for all people. I've had 2 patients that I can recall recently that have had it more than once. 1 man has had it 3 times fortunately was not terribly sick either time and just this week a woman who had it twice last December and now again. She is getting vaccinated. I can't remember if the man is or not. So much divide regarding the vaccine mandates that I am not sure about for all people yet but the fight from educated Healthcare professionals that have had to have other vaccines for their job, it is hard for me to understand them saying my body my choice statements. Also so many say I am using science hope I get it and will have natural immunity. Well that is possible but science also shows that vaccines eradicate diseases too.
Cait: You are doing so awesome. Good job planning your lunch like you did that is AWESOME.
Waving to all. Happy Walking!!

Yesterday we walked 2.1 mi before breakfast.
Because we leave Saturday to go north, this am I went to WW for my monthly WI, and my weight was down 1.4 lbs to 143.8, the lowest since 6/2014. I feel good physically and mentally with the way I’m eating. I feel like my body is responding by gradually bringing my weight to the range that’s healthy for it. Focusing on the weight numbers makes me crazy and distorts my thinking, so I’m aiming for doing consistent HHs, and seeing what my body does with that, in size, appearance, strength, and all the health indicators, weight being one.
Beck Tip of the day: Thursday Think Tip: Whenever you have a big success (you overcome a craving, you don’t give in to the urge to emotionally eat, you order a healthy takeout meal, you stay on track at an event), ask yourself, “How did I do it? What was I saying to myself?” Then, write it down! If it worked once, it’s likely to work again.
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.

KELLY - GFY with the 2 mi yesterday. Hope the dental work goes smoothly and you and DH can get away a bit. It’s heartbreaking and frustrating to hear the misinformation being spouted and passed on from something they heard or read that was not a valid source. A week free of it will be a blessing.

Good Morning!! TGIF!!
Busy weekend ahead but at least I have off til 11/2. Added 2 miles yesterday.
We did get sad news that my sister's nursing home remains closed. Do to staff and now residents having COVID. She being one of them. MY BIL was told she does not have any symptoms but then told she was prescribed antibiotics and prednisone so not sure if she really has no sx. They were also going to give her the monoclonal antibody infusion which would be good as she is high risk with diabetes and heart disease. She was vaccinated.
Cait: Great job on a good WW WI. You have been doing so well. Yes a week free will be a blessing.
Waving to all. Happy Walking!!
