So I’m concerned about exaggerating my fruit and vegetable servings. Are we to use the FDA standard for servings? Do I need to enter those servings separately from actually tracking my meals? Fruit servings don’t count towards extra points. Non- Starchy vegetables count one point per cup. If you track them with your meals they should automatically give you the extra points. Their points values show a 0+

Question about "counting" vegetables towards the extra points. It looked like the system may have automatically given me a point for my veg's with breakfast. But I was also able to click on the "+' button and it added another point. Perhaps the initial point was activity? Does the system automatically figure out veg, or are we to manually add veg (similar to how the water feature has worked), or is it both (i.e. it will caculate veg based on detailed tracking, but you can also do "+" as a "quick add" type function) Inquiring minds want to know! It’s an either or. The tracker for veggies by the water tracking is for items that don’t show up as 0+ items, such as quick added foods and restaurant foods.

DebDoesWW,Thanks for the info on the bike. That is a relief to know that. bbbearsmom, For the person with a lot of zero points who ended the day with 23 points, I don't think it will be much of a concern since only 4 points roll over. I saw someone on Connect last night who was saying that most days she eats no non-zero point foods.

I've been working so I haven't had much time to sift through this thread. Is anyone having issues logging their activity? I usually do not log it, but I really want to be more faithful with logging everything. It looks like the activity section is "missing" something.

footballnut Nutshell version - activity is no longer on the website version. No longer called fitpoints on the app, nor can you select it to be used before weeklies anymore. everything is now just "points" You can still track your separate activities on the app and you can now select to track "steps" if you just use a pedometer. Oh and when you do the assessment it is either steps or minutes that you pick from.

Thanks. We moved, so I am not sure where my fitbit is buried. I really hope they do something about that, though, even if we do not earn points. I really like it to all be in one place.

I see that the Veggie+ feature has carried over to personal recipes too. My Faux-Tato Salad (cauliflower) automatically added one serving of vegetables and one point to my daily point allowance.

One comment. I had some foods that I had created for Smart Points. Those foods now are wildly off on points. For example, I had a food where I entered the sugar but not the total carbs since that wasn't required then. The food comes out as 3 personal points which seemed odd for a food of over 200 calories. I edited the food to put in all the relevant nutritional info and the food went to 6 points.
I can see that most of my created foods that were done before they required all nutritional info will need to be redone.

I really must learn to read things more carefully. I thought the topic here was PERSONAL Questions. Completely missed the Points part.

There was nothing for my daily points and then the amount of my weekly points from the old program. Me too. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who got that strange email.

I just want to reiterate that adding the water and the NS veggies is an attempt at habit building. That's why they are giving you added points for it. But if it is too much right now and you just want to try and get used to the new program, that's fine too. Your measurements don't have to be perfect!
Baby steps, you don't have to tackle everything at once and get so overwhelmed you quit, that isn't what WW is aiming for. Try aiming for one thing at a time to master, then work on the next thing.
Give yourself grace.

I believe we covered that back on page 2 NatureLover , yep it's gone from the website along with the water tracker. (And no veggie tracker on the website either.) The website is down to the bare bones and looking really pathetic. * They just keep plugging the app on the website. And the difference is there is now an option to either choose steps or minutes on the assessment to earn extra points (no longer called FitPoints). On the app you can manually enter "steps" under activity (for instance if you have a pedometer and count steps that way). And yes, you earn daily points from activity, water, non-starchy veggies. Hi Deb,
I know you don't work for WW, but I hope you can direct me to an email address or webpage where I can address this:
- I cannot use the app reliably for a number of reasons, but the main one is that I'm unable to see it due to my failing eyesight. I understand why they're pushing people off the web interface and onto the app, but what am I -- and a lot of other people with poor eyesight -- supposed to do?
Please know that I'm not complaining at you.
Thanks,
-- Mike Beebe

I can't wait until I have more time to play with everything. Mondays are nuts around here, but maybe that's a good thing given the tech glitches, etc.!

mikebeebe , I am also not happy with them crippling the browser version of WW. I have the app. I use it at times. But, most times I am actually on my desktop computer with my 3 monitors so it is more convenient for me to enter stuff from the computer. To be forced to use the app is super annoying. One reason I quit itrackbites is that you must use app only. I just couldn't tolerate that.
