This is probably a stupid question but...with the new plan is it only boneless skinless chicken breast that will be 0 pts? What about turkey breast ( not the deli kind but one that you roast yourself) skin removed? Just wondering if anyone knows.

sullicat1, according to the UK WW site, fresh chicken and turkey breast are free as well as deli chicken and turkey breast.

Yes, and for those that did not know - I didn't lol - minced turkey and minced beef is ground turkey and ground beef. Took me a while to figure that one out. Totally not info about zero points, but if you are looking at UK websites, and see that, that is what it means lol.

I love reading their posts on FB. The list of 0 point foods is funny, so many fish and tinned fish like cockles. Haven't seen those at Publix and TJ's.

I actually am looking forward to this change...I just need a change. I've done Simply Filling before and this is like a combo of both points and SF. People need to realize that just because WW says "eat until you are satisfied, not stuffed" doesn't mean they can't deviate from that. If you're afraid of overeating, then by all means weigh & measure! If you need the structure, then structure yourself! It's like they expect WW to do EVERYTHING for them, rather than make the changes they need to make for themselves.

Laura M, I think I am going to like this. I've been dual tracking this week old program and new program. Actually triple tracking since I'm doing calories also. After 6 days - current program - I have 8 weekly points left - 3 blue dots new program - 4 weekly points left - 5 blue dots (Thanksgiving only non-blue dot day). I have eaten an average of 1061 calories per day. I am eating about 31.5 points per day old program, 27 new program Thankgiving was the same points on both programs since we had duck and ham, both pointed. But one day there was a 16 point difference between points on the 2 programs where I ate out and had salmon and corn. It is definitely easier on days where I eat more of the 0 point foods. Yesterday, I ate exactly 23 points on the new program (24 on the old program). The difference was in a bean salad I had at dinner that was 6 points on current program and 2 on the new program. The real key to making the new program work is to eat some of the 0 point foods whether that be chicken or fish or eggs or bean or fat free yogurt, etc. When I do that the program is easy. I am enjoying being able to role over. I've been below 30 points 4 of the 6 days on the current program and it is frustrating that I can't roll over any points.

Laura M , this was my thinking about the plan. I was very anti simply filling. But, after reviewing the SF list, and the new zero points foods are of course on the SF list, it seemed like I might give SF a go. I have to track, but I always get so bored with tracking everything, that that is when I start to lose my interest in the plan. So even though I will be tracking the non SF items, it is less tracking and I think that will help me overcome the boredom and mundane everyday tracking that I struggle with, and help me keep from dropping off the grid with working the WW plan.

The new program has been released in Australia today, but won’t take affect until your next WI day. It’s called ‘Your Way+‘. The only odd thing is that the UK version advertises ‘over 200 zero point foods’ where the Australian version is said to have ‘over 180’. All else seems the same with roll-over Points etc.
Correction: now it says over 200 zero point foods. I thought I saw here that Weetabix were zero points in the UK....we have an equivalent here (Weetbix), and they’re not free <dang, quite like them>
Further correction: points may change once the App switches over....will just have to wait and see (and yes, they’ve (momentarily) disabled the ability to track ahead so you can’t see into the future. Luckily my WI day is tomorrow.

This is so crazy that it just might work! If not, my PP app works just fine.

I have been looking, but have not seen anywhere that it says Weetabix are "zero" points... dang, that is the ONLY cereal we have here that could be considered SF. Well, as I remind myself often, "you've lived without that stuff for 32 years...KOKO "
By the way, as I logged into WW today I did get the message that the new program will be rolling out the week of Dec. 3.
First time I have ever seen it pre-announced by WW on their site.
I am so excited. The more I see, the more I am convinced that this is the perfect marriage of Simply Filling and tracking.
I made breakfast egg muffins this morning. Inside I put hash browns and mozzarella. Each one works out to 2 points on the now plan and will end up being 1-ish on the new. But I realized this is the first time in donkey years I have actually planned using cheese. I could never make it fit in to my plans with SF. Here there are NO FF, and I probably wouldn't use them anyway due to taste. But the point being, I can now concentrate on nutrition, satisfaction, clean eating without depriving myself/binging / hiding/not tracking .... I CAN FINALLY WORK ON BEHAVIOR.
I am more than happy, I feel like I have found home.

This was posted by a UK member of a WW FB group I'm in. She had posted that she hadn't lost anything the first week on the plan and was upset about it.
NEW PLAN ADVICE In discussions with other members, coaches and Uk blogs, the reason that the new plan has not worked for some people, including me, is that: (A). They have assumed that because an item is zero pointed that you can have unlimited amounts. So whereas they would normally have two eggs and one chicken breast in a day they thought they could have four or even 6 eggs and say three chicken breasts. (B) Because so much protein is free a lot of people used more of their points on carbs than they did on old plan. (C). Some people have also doubled their fruit to fill up (certainly in my case too many bananas). So in short: 1. Don't eat more than your normal portion of zero foods. Zero does NOT mean unlimited. 2. Don't use all your points on carbs use on more protein and dairy. 3. Watch fruit intake particularly the higher calorie ones like bananas, mango etc. Hope this helps for when you start new plan next week so that you all have good loss first week. Certainly people who have stuck to above rules seem to have had good losses.

I wonder how anyone can tell the new plan hasn't worked if it's only been out for a week? Or why she thinks people are binging on fruit given that fruit has been 0 for years? And given the they've made a lot of protein 0, why would she tell people to spend points on even more protein - how much protein does she want people to eat?

People amaze me.
I remember when fruit went to 0P.Members were asking if they could eat a whole watermelon? 10 bananas?
0P foods were never called "free"... they are not magically 0 calories just because ww assigns them 0P.
