Steph They were saying on the news this morning the grandfather of the boy who was killed knew the stepfather of the first man who was killed.
Celeste as long as you are getting enough calories and are good on macros and you aren't feeling bad I would go with however many points you are satisfied with.I on the other hand need at least 20 points or I get too hungry.I do use olive oil on my salads and I have one every day for lunch with my grilled chicken tenders.I always try to get the 2 tsp or in my case I use 1/2 tbsp so I don't have to use more points than I need to but that's because I am so used to getting in the good healthy guidelines they used under PP.All my snacks have points.I also always went over on fiber but I do that b/c of my IBS-C. I did notice while double tracking with regular SP I am getting most of my SP(usually 27-28 SP)and on freestyle 20 SP.If you aren't hungry then go with however many points you feel comfortable.I just feel like(this is for me)if I eat too many 0 point foods I will gain.
Connie I hope you do well at the quilt guild with your food and a veggie tray should be totally acceptable. You have to look out for yourself.
Suze congrats on your loss.Do you use your weeklies or AP's first? It seems like I can never lose even 1 lb per week. It's always a few tenths but I'll take that right now.As long as you know you are expecting packages in the mail it should be okay. The police chief said this morning if you aren't expecting a package don't even move it.Call 911.He also said if you are expecting a package from Amazon or somewhere else it should be okay. The post office and delivery services aren't delivering the packages involved. They are left overnight on the person's porch.I want a Kroger's too.
Morning exercise done.I need to get dressed so we can go to Elgin for some groceries we couldn't find yesterday.

LOUISE I have one word about dentists: UGH. CONNIe do you have a Sprouts, TJ's or Whole foods? I think they all have those meringue cookies and if you get the ones w/o choc chips they're relatively low in pts (like 8 for 5 points on the vanilla ones). It's hard to do healthy or non healthy w/o a fridge unless it's pre-baked items. HUNGRY GIRL haS some cookie recipes but at 4-8 per cookie... I mean who eats ONE? BECKY i do get it about too many 0 point foods (too many ANY POINT FOODS) and one can gain. I think my appetite the past 2 days has been off b/c I've had to really be faithful about the Miralax or I'm in trouble. It used to be a once in a while thing but lately it's all the time. I had some weird dreams and some of them were just silly and some were terrible. Mostly they revolved around bathrooms b/c in real life I had to pee AND was cramping so at one point, we were moving and my toilet got moved to my bedroom and I really had to go and every room I went to had a toilet but movers were in there. One toilet was GROSS b/c I guess movers don't FLUSH Finally I just walked into my bedroom where the toilet was next to my bed and told the guy "I have to go" and just went right in front of him. When I woke up I REALLLLy had a full bladder. LOL I also dreamed about Roland. I was taking care of him and I'd sit him up and he'd flop over and I'd say "I could swear that kid could sit" and instead of crawling he'd roll everwhere. Just roll over and over until he got there. Then while the movers were there he rolled right outside and I got mad that they weren't watching him........... yup it's all those drugs I did(n't do) in the 70s.

I really like my new dentist, especially since you donโt have to do impressions for crown. It is computerized.
They talked about the mail bombs of the 70โs. My dd was in the er when they brought the man in.

Haven't had a chance to catch up on everyone. Darn sinus have been horrible since I got home. Trouble sleeping with drainage. Taking medicine but still all stopped up and ears plugged. Just dragging. No energy. Trying to get some wash done today.
I got on the scale and as I expected way up. Need to get this show on the road. Just got to get to going and get myself organized and meals planned. We go to Angel Fire on Sunday to check on the remodeling of the kitchen in the little condo. Already told DH I am planning meals and we will not eat out a lot. I really want to get back to the gym. I am hoping I will feel like going to the Y tomorrow and walk a little on the treadmill. We can use the gym at the Country Club while in Angel Fire.
Had a wonderful trip Learned a lot about my camera and taking pictures. Now to sort through them all.
Hope those with kids are enjoying their spring break.
Waves to everyone.

Celeste when I talk about gaining with the 0 point foods I'm talking about myself.I'm sure everyone else does fine with eating 0 point foods and loses but I don't want to gain.I did double track with MFP with 20 SP today and it's like 1230 calories if I stick to that. Also included in my points is the sugar free creamer I use in 2 cups of coffee.I read on Facebook where one lady who isn't doing Freestyle but is head of the return to 30 movement over there and said she's having a tough time with constipation right now.I am used to having it so I just drink Miralax twice a day anyway and which is why I normally eat the Quest protein bars or I've noticed when I eat the Jolly Time 3 point popcorn it has fiber in it but not as much as the Quest bars.I don't know why but it seems like I have been extra hungry the last 2-3 days.LOL on your dreams. My psychiatrist faxed in my Temazepam so maybe I won't wake up at 3:00 in the morning.I had run out completely. Also are you drinking enough water to keep everything moving.I noticed yesterday when I drank more water than normal it really helped me.
Welcome back Terry.I understand about not wanting to eat out a whole lot.I am trying to keep Kenneth limited to wanting to go out to eat just once a week for awhile.I'm glad you had a wonderful trip.

Hi ladies! Left work early with our newest snow. Had about 11" today. Fortunately it seems to be finished now. DH and I went out and got it all cleaned up. Now they are telling us there is another one on the horizon. REALLY? ? Please not here. Yes, Celeste, my heating and electric bills are outrageous. Had oil delivered last week and it's 2.74 a gallon. A typical winter we use @ 1200 gallons. My electric bill runs @ $300 a month. It's extremely expensive to live in CT. We will not be retiring here. Can't afford to. Not sure where, but not in CT. Connie, how about some pieces of fruit - apples, oranges, pears, peaches, grapes. Whatever is in season where you are. These are satisfying, point free, don't need refrigeration and easy to transport. We have bluebirds here. We feed the birds year round and have all sorts of birds. It is so enjoyable to see them. Terri, I'd love to see some of your photos once you have them sorted. Okay ladies, working on some laundry while I'm home and need to work on some supper. I'm hungry.... BBL JT

Today was haircut & eye dr visit for me & kids. First time to actually find frames & stayed within the insurance price. Went out to take A & a friend to see a movie and it was sold out. Bought tickets for tomorrow. She's now out riding her bike & Z went over to the gf's house. While we were out, the girls wanted icecream. We parked in front of a baskin robins. Got a kid's cup & am praying I don't regret that later. Hamburgers for dinner. I'm falling asleep sitting here on the couch.

Holding down a group of seats for the final basketball game. It has been fun, but ready to do other things. All hail Queen Louise with her new crown! JT...glad you could get home early with the big snow AGAIN. Enough! Though they are saying rain / snow mix here again over the weekend. And Sandy & crew actually went to find the stuff!?! Suze....safe travels & have a great time! What time do you leave tomorrow? Early I would assume. Becky...Iโll be needing groceries by next Monday when we get back...may I send a list for you to pick up? Haha Steph...which movie are the girls going to see? A couple of good ones I hope we can get to before they leave the theater. Connie...I think your veggie tray is a great idea for the snacks! What are you taking to work on? Terry....glad you had a great trip! Organizing photos is so time consuming....which is why mine are all still on my phone or in the cloud Celeste....sounds like you are getting your head in the game with the plan. Thin thoughts for your WI tomorrow! Spent the afternoon in the dr office with my mom....that after taking her to urgent care last Sunday. Hope this simmers things down for her for a bit. Not quite packed...but the birthday presents are wrapped & ready, so that is the main thing. The rest of it I can throw together pretty quickly. Did go to the gym this morning. Treadmill, wt machines & steps, & a little elliptical, too. That will be it til next Tuesday!

LOUISE yeah on the Unibomber and his mail bombs. I forgot about that.
TERRY were you getting sick before you flew or did it happen from the flight. I have a friend who always gets sinus crud after a plane flight. Fell better.
BECKY GIRL I totally am on board w/ you on the 0 point foods and weight gain. Remember I didn't lose last week (gained a few tenths), and if I don't lose weight this week.... well I've not cheated AT ALL so it would have to be the 0 P foods and portion sizes at work. We'll see tomorrow. I don't FEEL as if I lost weight to be honest and I can USUALLY tell. As far as Fiber... when I ate Fiber One cereal every day of my life I was NEVER irregular. It has way more fiber than any fruits or veggies. But I'm just not a big fan unless I mix w/ cocoa powder (0) and FF ricotta (1) but I can't find FF ricotta except at TJ's. I may go buy some tomorrow after WW. And water is about the ONLY thing that's never been an issue for me. I always get in more than 8 cups. Which is why I'm always PEEING!!!
JT I saw your GOVERNOR on the news today about the storm. Basically "stay home". I also heard CT has relatively high property taxes, as well as having sales tax and personal income tax. UGH. And property is expensive in many parts of CT also! That's the quadruple whammy. Our sales tax is a bit more than yours, and our property tax rate is about equal to yours BUT our homes are mostly less expensive. And we have no state income tax. Our utilities and gasoline is cheaper too. Then again... I'm in freaking TEXAS If Bob could get a decent job elsewhere, I'd be out of here TOMORROW.
STEPH I just made an appointment for Friday to get my hair cut. I NEED it desperately.
ANGIE LOL @ Queen Louise. I hope your mom is doing OK now??
Taco salad for dinner. It was good. I wanted to get in extra veggies hence the salad for dinner.

What a day!
Met the lady about the windows. Interestingly, they are not manufacturing/installing many windows due to the season, so if I agree to have these windows made and installed quickly I can get low E glass and Argon gas between the panes at no extra charge. That's a perk worth about a thousand dollars. And best yet....they could make the windows on Thursday and install them Friday....OF THIS WEEK! Talk about being on the ball. One of the gals at work had them do her windows and she gave them a glowing review. I think the prospect of having windows checked off my list is pretty appealing.
Then there is the matter of the appraisal. About 3 days after the guy came out to look at the place, we got a letter from some outfit that buys abandoned houses "as is". The timing of that letter seemed really strange. I asked the appraiser if he gave the outfit our name, because if so, that would be an extreme conflict of interest. He denied it, but I can't be sure. I was even more suspicious considering that he seemed to go out of his way not to say anything positive about the place, but commented that he wasn't sure it'd be worth spending the money to fix it up. I asked him if I could just pay him for the initial inspection but forego the report and get the rest of my money back. He said it would cost me about $150. But I think I'm going to go that route because I'm not sure I can trust his appraisal. It sucks that you have to be so suspicious of people.

whooooa CONNIE something doesn't sound kosher there. Very "coincidental".
On the phone trying to get some travel plans fixed up. Both Royal Caribbean and Celebrity (same parent company) are re-doing their websites and they've LOST all our stuff. I mean we have a reservation but there's no cruising history. All the info re: passport and credit cards is GONE and you can't input it. It keeps taking me to "my reservation page" and when I click check in it says LOG IN and when I log in it takes me to MY RESERVATION PAGE and when I click check in it says LOG IN and when I .... well you get it. This is on both Celebrity AND RCI and I've tried both chrome and Internet explorer. grrrrrrrrrrrr

JT I'm glad you were able to get off work early. That is just too much snow.I hope it stops or slows down for you soon.
Steph What movie are y'all going to see?
Angie As long as you send enough money for your groceries and ours I will shop for you but you only have your choice of HEB or Walmart.
Celeste I've been so hungry today I would eat any 0 point food on the list.I bought some Fiber 1 to mix with the ff plain Greek yogurt and I don't know if it was because I used the Fage instead of the Great Value but I didn't like the 2 mixed together.I think I've only seen LF ricotta here.Good luck with your WI.It seems like if I'm regular I lose a little but if I'm not forget it I'm going to gain.So keep that in mind if you do have a small gain.I have a 20 oz cup and I know I have drank 5 of them today and it helps some but I'm still dang hungry. This is a new thing.Maybe even though I'm getting in 20 points it's not filling food so I'm staying hungry b/c it's just been the last 3 days. Now that you are talking about having taco salad I'm getting hungry again.
Connie That is a quick turn around on those windows. There are signs on the roads out here from a company that will buy houses in any condition but you are right about being cautious with the appraiser.
Celeste How could they lose your cruising history? That's a real bummer.I hope you can get it worked out without too many problems. That's odd how both companies lost your history.

DH and I went out for Mexican, so I won't be losing any this week. Heck, I wasn't losing anyway. Have been really hungry all week. So discouraging. I am completely stuck in a 5 pound range....and am right back at the top of it. This rental house crap isn't helping.
Spent some time today in the sewing room cutting strips of fabric for a scrap quilt I'd like to make. Have lots more cutting to do. Amazing how time consuming it is. And that's before the sewing even begins!
For the retreat, I am going to pack up a quilt that I've been working on the last couple of years. It is a scrappy stars and pinwheels quilt made of civil war reproduction fabrics. The pattern was published in a quilt magazine in 2011 and I always wanted to make it. I have about 5 of the eleven rows made. If I could finish a whole row at the retreat I would consider that good.
Ive also got a couple of hand sewing projects I can take. One is rather mindless, easy sewing and the other is very tedious. And I still have crazy quilt blocks that I need to embellish the seams on. Plus the last 3 months worth of blocks from the 2017 block of the month project at quilt guild. I got behind while finishing the 9 year quilt. And I'm supposed to do 2 baby quilts for Ronald McDonald house at some point. Far more projects than I will be able to complete at this retreat!
Need to get busy and quilt the one on my machine tomorrow. And I seriously need to make a label and hanging sleeve for the 9 year quilt and attatch them before Sunday. So much to do that it is sort of stressing me out.

Good Lord, CELESTE! Those cruise lines sound pretty inept. Fingers crossed that they fix their issue and your info magically re-appears!
JT- The snow here has been coming in squalls. It snowed so hard while we were walking Shasta that she had an inch of snow on her back when we got home. Thankfully, she gave a good shake before coming in and most of it came right off. I think we are only getting 1-3 inches tonight (probably close to 3 here and 1 at the rental). But I think they said we will have more in the coming days. NOTHING like what you have to deal with, so I won't even bother to complain.
SUZE- safe travels. You are leaving Thursday, right?

BECKY all my stores have "part skim" and reduced fat ricotta but the only place I can find FF is at TJ's and I actually like it. I usually buy a couple and freeze one. The crazy thing on the cruising history is that Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity cruises are owned by Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines LTD. And they are both revamping their websites with an eye on merging them. So they BOTH are nuts. I was on hold for an hour and 40 min and I finally gave up. Some people are reporting that they CAN access their online check in, and others can't. I'm a "can't". I've used 2 computers and 3 browsers (IE, Chrome and Firefox). I've cleared my browser history and rebooted. Tomorrow I'll call tech support AGAIN. But the long wait times makes me pretty sure they're going crazy w/ this issue. I have plenty of time to sort it out but I had actually already filled out all the forms so I think I'll be back to square one. Not a big deal. Just an ANNOYANCE. Such as we all live with.
CONNIE with your work, your nutsy schedule, your quilting, TRYING to have a life...and then the extra stress of the rental house (a situation which I STILL say stinks to high heaven), I don't know where you find the "psychological energy" to be on task as far as losing weight. I find I only have so much "fight" in me and if I'm spread too thin, then the fight I need to work the weight loss battle is just not there.
