Connie I'm glad all the windows will be installed Friday. That's a quick delivery on windows. When do you leave for the retreat?I am never in a "I can't relax day."
Steph I'm glad y'all enjoyed the movie.Don't feel guilty about not going to see MIL.You do a lot for her already and even if she doesn't appreciate it I'm sure your DH does.I'm sure letting go with Z is hard.
Suze I hope you are having a fun time.
Celeste Also the slower you lose the more likely you are to keep it off.I have a pair of dumbbells around here but I rarely use them.I do have a weight pulley type thing on a door I use more often that that.Believe me you don't want to lose 50 lbs in 50 weeks. You will look like I did when I lost too much weight too fast after I hit the upper end of my goal.Eat healthy but enjoy what you eat.
They were talking about whether you should eat more of your points or not on another thread and the consensus was pretty much after the honeymoon phase is over with freestyle people are wanting to eat foods that have points because eating 0 point foods isn't sustainable for the long term.I know one lady who said her leader always told them not to eat anything in losing mode that you wouldn't eat in maintenance mode and that was before freestyle.
I'm not trying to say I eat all my points every day because I don't.I have eggs for breakfast.I had 0 point tuna for lunch, will have 0 point chicken for dinner but I know for my own health I have to eat a certain amount of points.I'm not advocating this as advice for anyone else. When I got down to 117 I wasn't eating enough and my legs were weak.I find out now if don't eat enough food with points my legs still get weak.I know all foods have calories but I may not be getting the right kind of foods that make me feel shaky.I think everyone is different and eat the kind of foods they like and enjoy as long as they feel healthy. That's what we are all looking for along with the weight loss.
Sandy I'm glad y'all have had such a fun time. You all are making great memories.

They made it to Houston. They were going to go to the holocaust museum and a few other places. I went to it about 10 yrs ago. We took all the 8th graders & I didn't get to finish the tour b/c the girls couldn't handle it. Z loves history. The gf's dad is also a history buff & her mom is a manager of some type of museum in Austin. Just want them to have a good time, but to be safe. It's more the other idiots on the road.
OK.....someone explain this to me....xiidra.....it's eye drops for dry eye....went to pick up the prescription earlier and for a 3 month supply, it's $2000....no typos...$$TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS$$....my insurances pays $1800....I'm out just over $100. So, I'm not sure this will be a longterm solution for me. Dr says should only be for a few months. Gave me a coupon where I'm supposed to pay $0 for first 30 days and $10 every month. According to the gal at Walgreens, it's still cheaper to go with my insurance. There's a gimic attached with the coupon. Unfreakin' believable!!!!
Got a few things on sale at Dillards. Don't usually shop there, but was walking around and found the clearance section. Dropped the girls off at the park and they'll walk home. Resting a bit before I go tackle all those clothes the boy pulled from his closet on Sunday.

Steph I've had dry eyes for years and have never heard of eye drops that expensive. Is it just dry eye or do you have another eye problem as well?I used to use Restasis but it normally burned my eyes.I find OTC Systane Ultra works pretty good for me but my eyes are still dry.I also have lazy eye and don't blink hardly ever which contributes to my dry eye.I was able to get one of my RX's for something else on a discount card at HEB but if it's a brand name it's going to be expensive and evidently your doc prescribed the newest RX for your eye problem.I'm glad Z & GF made it to Houston.

First day back on plan. Have tracked everything including a four piece McNugget had at lunch. Also have tracked dinner and snacks. Have 4 points left. Feel like good start. Now just to keep it up. Still haven't made it to the gym. Still just don't have the energy to go.

LOUISE very true about kids going away to college and the "what I don't know won't hurt me". I remember when I went away to college. EGADS but I still lived to tell about it.
CONNIE your grades were good enough to get you into the pharm school program so if you'd gotten straight A's or not, you'd kind of be the same career wise. And think of the fun you'd have missed. In many ways, college were my most "dramatic" and the most FUN of my life and a lot of learning went on outside of classwork.
SANDY cute pic of the little snow bunny. I used to ski a lot and we had a ski cabin in Running Springs, CA. But just the THOUGHT of getting off a ski life now scares me, let alone actually skiing! hmmmmm I like green chili. I like beer. I'm not so sure about the green chili beer. And I bought pecan beer and didn't like that either. I guess I don't like flavored beers. But I got some HONEY JALAPENO wine and OMG it was killer good.
BECKY yes i have to enjoy what I eat or else I cannot sustain it. I was eating too much chicken as my protein (I totally forgot I could have fish for 0 points), and thought I'd start to lay eggs, so I had to PLAN a steak into my rotation or I'd have been ready to pig out on anything.
STEPH drug costs on Medicare (UNITED HEALTH CARE DRUG COVERAGE THRU AARP) is the same way. Some drugs cost me $2-400 bucks via Medicare but on GoodRX at another drugstore w/ the coupon it's like $30!! And when Restasis very first came out, I was on Aetna non medicare and even w/ the insurance it was hundreds of dollars for 3 months. I gave it 6 weeks and the improvement was so minimal I stopped taking it.
TERRY 5 points for 4 mcNuggets really isn't that bad. I mean it's not nearly as good as a Quesadilla Explosion salad at CHilis but...... that's 40 freaking POINTS!!!! Easy to fit a 5 points meal into the day.
I've got a huge pot of ratatouille in the oven again. 2 eggplant, 3 green peppers, 2 big onions, a big can of San Marzano tomatoes, some spices. I'm having a burger w/ it. I found out 4.5 oz of the 2% fat ground beef is 1 point so I can have a pretty huge burger for 2 points. I may airfry a large potato cut into fries for 4 points. And I have a 1 point bun I ordered from Amazon. So 7 points for a delicious dinner is a WIN.
I've decided this is my least favorite font. Though it's DARK and BIG, it's really hard for me to read b/c the letters seem to blob together. Not enough contrast.

I knew it would be a mistake to take that nap. I slept for 3 hours. Will probably not sleep tonight. Have to be at the rental at 8am to let the window guys in. Then am meeting 2 gals for lunch.

Well two weeks ago, it was announced that there would be no kissing of 3rd id soldiers. Their wives didnโt like it. We found out the real reason...vp pence is going to march in the parade to honor them. Itโs all fine & good that he is coming, but itโs messing up the parade. At least he is not doing the whole parade, but where he is is going to be detectors to go thru, no chairs among others.

Well hello all. Actually read through the posts and haven't dosed off yet. I'm exhausted though, so I don't think I'll be up too late tonight.
Connie, you must have needed that 3 hour nap. Hopefully you will be able to sleep tonight. Good luck with the windows tomorrow.
Celeste, I too don't like the font you used. Found it hard to read. So what have I been doing- not much. Shoveling, snow blowing snow, trying to survive this God awful winter, working. Been very busy at work. With the snow storms, I ended up doing 2 new hire orientations last week and 1 this week. Trying to get caught up because I had to cancel 2 groups do to our crappy weather. The forecast is for very cold weather for the weekend and snow Tuesday night in to Wednesday. Can't believe the weather people would even dare to put out another snow forecast. They should be in hiding!
Okay, think I will knit for a while. My sister gave me some new yarns that come with little teddy bear faces to attach to the little hats that the kit make.
Happy Friday. Night all.

UGH CONNIE on a 3 hour nap. I'd be done for! I hope you get to sleep when it's really TIME. OTOH you obviously needed it.
OK LOUISE I've read your post 4 times and have NO IDEA what you're talking about. Kissing? 3rd ID soldiers? I don't know what a 3rd ID soldier is and why anyone would kiss one and what Pence has to do with it or chairs. I feel as if I missed something.
JT, your weather is absolutely HORRIFIC. It was about 80 here. Slight breeze. sunny. But at the end of the day... it's still TEXAS! And in a few months you'll be able to say "It was about 80 here, slight breeze, sunny" and I'll say "It was 90% humidity and triple digit temps for the 10th day in a row!"
I had a burger w/ blue cheese. it wasn't all that good. I mean it sounded better in my mind than reality. But I ate it. I'm at 22 points so I'll make that faux cobbler for dessert and then I'm finished.
Bob's walking. I am.... well I'm LAZY so he's walking on his own. Maybe tomorrow (and maybe pigs will fly). I think I'll take a shower in a few and get ready for bed. I have a haircut around noon. My hair looks like carp b/c I'm going from super short to medium length and right now it's just super DORKY length. Helmet much? Night all.
