BECKY I think pork tenderloin is a nutrition and points bargain. So tasty and full of protein, low in fat, high in minerals and B vitamins. And you can do so many thinks with it. Carnitas tacos (cube it and sautee), pulled pork, pork medallions. calabasitas (cubed w/ cubes of zucchini, tomatoes an corn like a stew).
SUZE partly the pred and did you lose sleep like all the rest of us last night? I'm dragging but probably by bedtime I'll be wide awake. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Mary, I tend to like DLSTime better than "standard" b/c of the lighter evenings. Bob hates it b/c of the darker morning commute. But I wish they'd pick one time and COMMIT!!
STEPH I've been so close to napping. My eyes feel like sandpaper and I have a sleep deprivation headache. But if I go to sleep too early I'll wake in the middle of the night... UGH.
It's REALLY weird. This is what I had to eat today: bkfst: eggs and salsa TOTAL POINTS: 0 Lunch: 2 sarah lee red fat bread, mustard, LF cheese slice and ham. TOTAL:5 Dinner: 0 point thai curry carrot soup, 3/4 cup squash w WW cheese sauce 2 TB. And steak. I can ALWAYS polish off 8 oz of steak b/c I love it. But I barely got 3 or so ounces down and was full. I am NEVER FULL!! TOTAL: 5 I will have a bedtime snack of the redi whip, canned peaches and crumbled bran flakes: 1 For a total daily of: 11 I'll probably wake up ravenously hungry!!

Dang Celeste. That's not many points. If you get 23 daily points you should at least try to get 13 points in.I know sometimes we aren't as hungry(wait I don't think that's ever happened to me unless I'm sick)but on the other hand if you got in enough 0 point foods to feel comfortably full there's nothing wrong with that.I used to not get in more than 18 points but today my only 0 point foods were chicken,f&v and maybe 1/2 cup ff plain Greek yogurt mixed in with my flavored Greek yogurt so I got in 21 points. However I'm double tracking regular SP on ITB and I only got in 23 points and I get 30 so go figure.I found I had been hungrier the last 3 days and I saw I was eating around 18 points so maybe I wasn't getting in the kind of foods I needed.Snacks tonight were microwave popcorn and a protein bar.
I needed a break from eggs for breakfast this morning so I had a packet of Quaker high fiber oatmeal with 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk and a banana. It's nice if you have 1/2 cup of milk instead of 1 cup it's 0 points.I was using unsweetened cashew milk but it was so watery it didn't even look like milk but the unsweetened almond milk looks more like milk to me and it tasted better today.I never have a completely 0 point meal not even breakfast.Even when I have eggs I either have them on an Ole spinach tortilla or a sandwich thin with spinach and nuke a slice of Velveeta on top. It's so good and only 4 points for that or if I use the Ole it's only 2 points for LC on the tortilla.I do track 1 SP for my creamer for my coffee though.I don't like black coffee and I've tried it with almond milk and Splenda and still didn't like it so I just use the extra point b/c I like the flavor better.
Oh Celeste on that salsa you told us about I notice if you track more than 2 tbsp at a time it does have at least 1 pt.Since I bought the mild by mistake neither of us really cared for it so we don't even use it anymore.I wouldn't have thought with 0 sat fat and 1 gram of sugar it would have points for using more than 2 tbsp.
Good night ladies!

I donโt think it was dark when I went to bed, out soon as my head hit the pillow. Of course I woke up really early and thought I was doomed, but fell back asleep, yeah!

Morning โ Have a safe trip SANDY!
CELESTE probably a little of both, but Iโve had that sinus headache on and off with pressure and my ear is slightly plugged. No worries though, I am NOT getting sick. I agree, overall I prefer DST, but donโt really care which if they would pick & stick to one.
Alarm went off this am but I turned it off and stayed in bed an extra hour. Still plenty of time to get to work. I needed the sleep more than getting in early.
Pretty quiet here as you can imagine. Students are off, and a lot of the staff has scooted as well. I have my gear ready for the most part, and will do a small load of laundry tonight.
Enjoy the day - bbl

BECKY though I know that's not many points, I had plenty of calories. The soup, while 0, had lots of nutrition between the carrots and silken tofu. The meat was excellent and had plenty of calories The squash was... well ... but it had plenty of nutrition. I was going to do the peaches w/ Redi whip and crumbled cereal but instead I had some Dole Dippers. THose frozen strawberries dipped in dark chocolate are great for a sweet tooth and have 3 points so I got to 13. I know they say 13 to 38 is my acceptable range, so at the end of the day I was good to go. But it is VERY RARE for me to not want to eat so I kind of took advantage of it. I have NO IDEA why there are points if you have more than 2 TB of that salsa. There is NO sugar or fat added. It's not blenderized into a liquid... it's very chunky. I've compared the ingredients to PACE and it's the same thing. and Pace is 0. I always get Medium (I had to ask a tall person to get it for me yesterday) and I'm not counting points b/c there is no reason. It's has NO ingredients that has points (I haven't looked at the mild) and it's NOT liquified or pureed. In fact it's chunkier than say PACE which has 0 points. Or WM Great Value Medium which is 0. And we KNOW if we ask in chat it will be a hot mess of information. Anyway in the AM I only eat 2 TB w/ my eggs. But every once in a while I do small dish of it w/ a 0 point Kim's Magic Pop broken into like chips (love those things). Anyway since I can't track the riverwalk MEDIUM I'm just tracking it as Salsa, fat free.
WHOOOOA LOUISE you're lucky you fell back to sleep. I went lights out at 12. I even took a klonipin (I allow myself 1 every 2 weeks) and I slept until 9:30 and could have gone a couple more hours. I LOVE GOOD SLEEP and at this point in my life I'd take it over good sex 10 to 1.
SUZE ya just have to proritize. More sleep or getting in early. There are times when each of them take priority.
STEPH is this double sided tape needed to keep Z's g/f's dress from falling off her cleavage?
SERIOUSLY ANGIE? AN hour on the treadmill before I even got out of my jammies? It's a good thing you are SUCH a very nice person b/c I could grow to HATE YOU OTHERWISE. Or at least resent/envy you. THough I know... I've been there when come hell or high water I did my 60 laps in the indoor track last summer. Then my foot started w/ that bone spur and BLAMMO that was the end of it.
My goal for this week and it doesn't include steps but I NEED to up my vegetable intake. I have taco soup and added a salad on the agenda for tonight. Lunch is going to be the 0 point Thai Carrot soup which sounds as if it would be really good cold (I'll try it and if not I'll zap it). I'll grill a couple of campari tomatoes w/ my eggs and salsa.
FUNNY WW says if you make your F&V into a smoothie the 0 point ingredients magically get points (I understand their reasoning sort of) but you blenderize the soup into a puree and somehow it stays 0. Mine is not to reason why. Mine is but to obey. YEAH RIGHT!!!
Bunco tonight. Nothing else I have to do. I have been avoiding exercise but then it hit me. I don't have to do 60 laps. I don't have to do 30. Heck I don't have to do any but for my heart health I should do some so I'm going to take an easy stroll around my entire neighborhood. That's only .5 miles but that's one small step for mankind... one GIANT step for me!!

I'm laughing about the difficulties everyone is having with the time change. Today is my turn around day and my schedule needs to change by 8 hours! Rookies!
I've been meeting the step challenge for the last week, but have slipped up on meals a few times. Pizza is a red light food for me and someone brought it to work the other day. Not good.
DH had an unexpected snow day today. The morning commute was treacherous. A heavy, wet snow. At one point on his trip to work there were 5-6 inches of snow on the roadway. He ended up having to turn around and come home. It was yucky when I came home, too. Would love to know why there were no snow plows deployed. All of the trees sure look pretty, though. I napped for 4 hours and now we are chilling out watching a James Bond movie.

CONNIE I cannot overstate how in awe I am of the say you go from days to nights and back again. It would take me the entire week b/4 I came CLOSE to feeling normal, and by then you're ready to change back. I'd seriously but ill. And I'm forgetful enough as it is... I'd be going to the store nekkid b/c I'd forget to get dressed. I SERIOUSLY think it would be lots easier for you to lose weight if you worked like a normal person. It's so mentally and physically stressful to keep altering sleep and wake patterns. And before you say I'd get used to it... um... no I wouldn't. As an RN I worked 3P to 11:30 and would frequently pull a second shift of 11PM to 7AM. But that was OK b/c instead of going to sleep at 4, I just tweak it until 8 and was still able to get in 8 hours. AND I didn't do it day after day. However when they'd ask in advance "we need you tocome in at 7:AM and work a double until 11:30 PM" I laughed and said "not in this lifetime." They could just "need" it all they wanted but they were going to have to NEED it from someone else. I know my limitations. APPARENTLY you are superwoman and I wanna see that big red S emblazoned on your white lab coat!!
I did walk around the neighborhood. It was a really nice day but it's been a while since I did any walking other than grocery shopping. It's only like 2K steps and the arthritis in my knees, ankles and esp my hips. I try to remind myself that carrying around 45 or 50 pounds fewer will put a lot less strain on my joints.
BKFST: eggs and tomatoes -0 LUNCH: 0 point thai curried carrot soup -0 Dinner will be: a big bowl of taco soup -0 with cheese -2, tortilla chips -1 and a salad w/ Dorothy Lunch -4
So that's a total of 7 but it's healthy. I'll make the faux peach cobbler since I have the whipped cream -1 So now I'm up to a whopping 8. Snacks: 2 cuties. So do I just EAT high point stuff to get there? That makes no sense.

Sandy Have a safe and fun trip.
Suze I agree about the time staying the same way all the time.
Steph Enjoy your quiet day.At least it's a prettier day than yesterday although still windy.
Angie There is no way I could do 1 hr on the TM.You rock.
Celeste is your healthy range 13-28 or 13-38 points?I will have to try those Dole dippers sometime. On the jar I had of salsa it listed 1 sugar gram.Surely we aren't penalized for 1 gram of sugar now.Kenneth didn't really care for it anyway and we really don't have room in the fridge. What is Kim's magic pop? It's probably the natural sugar in the fruits that makes the fruit have points but I know some people who just put a couple of different fruits in a smoothie and don't count them.Nothing with WW or any other diet is an exact science. We all have to do what works for us and right now I can't say anything is working much for me.You go on the giant step. You really don't have to exercise but for health reasons it does help.Enjoy bunco tonight.
Connie I'm glad Joe turned around and came home.No job is worth a life.
There have been 2 package bombs in Austin today and it's been exactly 1 week since the last package bomb there. In the first one this morning a 17 yo boy was killed. They are thinking maybe a serial package bomber???What are people thinking about?
I woke up at 3:00 and 4:00 this morning with tummy cramps.I'd get up and nothing happened.I finally took 2 charcoal caps and it at least got rid of the cramps so I could sleep until 5:00 when Kit Kat decided I needed to get up and take her to the bathroom.I took one of my IBS-C pills this morning and still no relief so I will take Miralax this afternoon and tonight.
