Since it appears changes are on the horizon take your best guess at what is coming.

Something similar to the old "Kick Start" versions of the plan? Only by choice, of course, because we all know that Freestyle is the be-all and end-all.
Back to weighing and measuring for the first two weeks and then whenever you felt the need for it? Choices from column A and column B, foods accompanied by recommended amounts. Restrictions on everything except certain vegetables. A check-off list for "essential" items like, oh, dairy, good fats, fruits, veggies, water. But only if you want to because, well, because.
Get out the measuring cups and spoons and your old scale. But no mandatory weekly liver and you don't have to make your own ketchup.

WISH LIST:
1. An admission from WW that Freestyle is a disaster. 2. Advice from leaders on the program if it’s not working for you. 3. Structure in the form of GHGs. 4. Points allocated to protein foods including eggs and legumes. 5. Not such a ridiculously high penalty for milk. 6. Personalised programs for eg. diabetics, PCOS, menopausal women, shorties (like me). 7. Bigger window for maintaining LTM. 8. Weekly menu plans 9. Ability to choose from previous plans including SFT 10. Zero points for chocolate and wine!

Less punishment for heart healthy fats, and doing away with the "zero point" foods in unlimited amounts would be on my wish list!

I feel like they will give the option to use freestyle or smart 30. They will never admit they screwed up with freestyle. I feel like they will spin it off as “we realize everyone’s body is different “ “we listened to you “ blah blah blah 🤣

I doubt WW will admit they made any mistakes but instead, they will come out with an "Improved Freestyle Program". There will be some tweaks but they will continue to push the idea that YOU can design your own program. We've all seen what happens with 200 zero point foods; people gain weight by eating too much. I really wish they'd talk more about HOW to lose weight which is where the Pink Book from Beck focuses. I did see some of the Beck topics discussed at WW over the past few years. Many people can lose weight but the problem comes in how to maintain the losses. I've heard many people at meetings say they have come back to WW because they gained back their weight. People need guidance and structure to learn how to maintain a new lifestyle. Of course, WW loves for people to return because that increases the money for them. GHG is the first thing that should be talked about with the New Improved Program! Yea, right!

On a side note: no more surveys have come my way as of late. I guess they have gotten their answers from everyone and have been doing the tweaks and thus “winter is coming”. 😂

jeanie I really think it is going to be sooner than the standard winter change. Mindy has already proven she is breaking all the "traditions." It is way too soon for them to be dumping the journals and shopping guides unless they have something up their sleeves sooner than the standard end of November change up.

Probably they'll get rid of the Wellness Wins stuff.
Cut the crap with the "weight doesn't matter anymore" philosophy developed for the people who yell at the receptionists.
Can I wish? Bring back the schlocky challenge charms. Don't throw dung. I liked them and they worked for me.

WW admit they made a mistake with Freestyle? Bwahahahahaha…NEVAH! They never have. They don’t make mistakes, just improvements of the last latest greatest thing.
New plan: - All new terminology will hit the scene: Studios will become WW centers; Workshops will become meetings; Coaches will become leaders; and Guides will become receptionists. There will be lots of PR hoopla around this change.
- The all-new “WW Nanny Plan” will be introduced.
- The plan starts with a member completing a questionnaire through which they choose whether ANY nutrient(s) is demonized and penalized. New formula customizes the points charged for food choices based on the members’ specified penalty preferences. Foods points may penalized heavily, moderately, or not at all.
- For each meal and the day, the dashboard gives the typical points used/remaining information PLUS, at the member’s choice, totals for one or more of the following: calories, fat/sat fat, carbs, fiber, sugars, protein, sodium, cholesterol.
- Good Health Guidelines return. Why? Because a physical representation of healthy choices rewards members psychologically by providing a visual “attaboy” and creates self-imposed guilt for falling short. For many people, far more effective than points penalties for foods.
- Totally new design for cookbooks: “Mix-and-Match”. Designed after a concept popularized by the American Diabetes Association, the cookbooks will be printed on light card stock; each page will be divided horizontally in quarters. The top section will be main dishes, the 2nd will be vegetable sides, the 3rd will be starchy sides, and the 4th section will be desserts. Users flip through the pages to make a choice from each section in order to create a complete menu for a meal. All choices, of course, work with ech other to create a points-friendly meal.
- The internal documents given to staff that host meetings will give a talking point that will be required to be presented in FIVE MINUTES OR LESS at the start of the meeting; then the staff will be empowered to conduct the meeting according to the needs and desires of the members in attendance rather than following a mandated script. Staff who interface with members know their specific audiences far better than management on high at HQ.
- At physical weigh-ins staff will be empowered to congratulate members on scale results or give sympathy as is appropriate, and staff will be trusted to get to know each member and adjust their interaction according to the member.
- Twelve-week challenges will return to meetings because, well, they actually keep some members engaged and coming back. Members meeting the attendance criteria for challenges (checking in 10 out of 12 weeks) will receive a charm. Why? Well, because BLING is a thing!
- Food products introduced to meetings will continue to be available for a minimum period of 18 months. Why? Well, because introducing a food and hyping it to get members to buy it and get addicted to it and then abruptly discontinuing it is frustrating, cruel, and causes people to go into mourning.

zazzles, great post, we can hope. I would like to add, please let the receptionists print weight stickers out of the computer. Discontinuing that practice to appease a few complaining malcontents was ridiculous. I must say though, the good leaders where I live conduct the meeting along the structure you suggested. The members really do run the meeting and the leaders (good ones) keep the flow running well.
