Is anybody else losing interest in Emergence? Full disclosure, we are a week behind watching. But it has so many similarities to Lost it makes us laugh. I don't think the premise is the same as Lost, it just doesn't move. It seems that the writers are making up the story as they go along. I wonder if they have a plan at all. So much random stuff.
Anyway, NCIS is still a keeper. The Rookie has had some interesting story lines. We are at least a week behind on Stumptown, but really liking it so far. We stopped watching the Unicorn, but might catch an episode every now and again. I do think it has some good one-liners - at least the ones I see on the trailers.

hallian, I agree with your comments. Emergence still has my interest but it needs to start moving more. Stumptown is okay but, again, I'm not sure where this show is going. The show I'm really tiring of is Blacklist. I think this is the final year and I think the writers are just running the clock out. And, I think Liz is the worst FBI agent in history; she does the dumbest things. /end rant! As usual, Survivor continues to impress me. Each season is different and the contestants add so much to the intrigue. I'm still enjoying The Rookie and NCIS. Oh, and Blue Bloods.

linda72 , I've never watched Blacklist or Blue Bloods. I wanted to watch Blue Bloods when it first started, but Tom Selleck always looked so stern. Does he ever smile on that show? Emergence reminds us so much of Lost. The code and the numbers AND it even started with a plane crash. LOL We really giggled over that. Even John Locke is in it. And just the fact that we have no clue what is going on. Survivor has been pretty good. The challenges have been long but it always comes down to that puzzle at the end. Also, the tribals have been interesting especially the blindsides. Loved that they decided not to let Noura even play in the challenge last night. That cracked us up.

hallian, on Survivor last night, I could not understand what happened when they didn't pick Noura to guide them. Huh? She's so wacky but I'm sure she was ticked off! HA! About Tom Selleck: he does seem stern most of the time. Even though he's the big star, he is limited in what he does and it is usually when he's acting as the Police Commissioner. Most of the stories are about his kids but I especially like when the family gets together at the end of the show and they are around the dinner table.

Oh, I love Dalton Ross's recaps. I always read them. As a matter of fact, I was just going to read this one when I stopped by here first. LOL
Thanks for the insight in Tom Selleck's character. Maybe I'll be able to catch the show in syndication or something. It will be good to watch while stationary bike riding. I'm just finishing up the 4th season of Grantchester on Amazon Prime. Now that's a good show. I'm glad I didn't watch it when it first started to air because it has been good bike riding entertainment.

Ok one thing about the show that has bugged me since they started it last season ... When they brought "Red" in on the first episode, they did a DNA test on HIS blood and it matched Liz. Now it seems like the writers want us to forget that and just take the "he's not the real Red and he's not Liz father" lines. Even if he is Ily and not "Red", he's still her father! Argh.

If you are a fan of the Jason Bourne series, you might be interested in the new series called "Treadstone" which started this week on the USA network channel. It shows on Tuesday nights at 9 pm. Episode 1 will repeat Saturday night at 10 pm or twice on Sunday. The 1st show was interesting and we'll watch the next one to see if it holds our interest. Here is the trailer.

I have a kind of love/hate with Blue Bloods. I continue to watch it, but I'm not sure why. It does bother me that Tom Selleck's character hardly ever smiles. I loved him in Magnum P.I. I also don't like the Danny Reagan character most of the time.
I'm looking forward to an HBO series "Catharine the Great", with Helen Mirren that is starting this coming Monday.

I have a kind of love/hate with Blue Bloods. Me too. Tom Selleck just seems "flat" most of the time and I don't know if he's tired of acting or if this is supposed to be the character he's playing. He needs to find a girl friend, go out dancing and get some excitement in his life on the show!! LOL!
