Can anyone send the old core plan program? It was the best. Need the plan guide and food list. I lost mine during Katrina 2005. Thanks

I lost weight on Core and kept it off over 10 years because the healthy habits became a habit. After moving across country six years, I returned to old (unhealthy) habits and gained with slowly as I have fought it using newer WW plans. I hate tracking. It feels like it is punishment for being overweight. I wish they would put the old core plan in the app. Just check off the fruits/veggies etc. instead of logging.

One of the new plans has a big list of zero-point foods and you only have to track the foods with points. I forget if it is the Blue or Purple plan. You might like that.

It's the Purple Plan. Closest thing to Core of the current food plans.

Hi,
I'm glad to find this " core " forum, I was on the old message board, but that is a long time ago. Always enjoyed the help and tips I got there!
I used the core plan way back in 2006 and I really had success with it. I lost 20 kg with it and kept my weight for quite a while and I kept going back to WW meetings, which helped keep my weight, BUT now I have gained back 10 kg. I tried the ProPoints, Smart Points, but those just aren't "right" for me. I didn't really lose weight with them.
So I would like to get back to the Core Plan and hope to find some help here. Too bad I didn't keep all of the CorePlan information, wish I would have! Anyone remember the Wendie Plan?

oldie45, welcome! You can't be too old if you're only 45. ๐ Yes, I remember the Wendie Plan where you banked most of your weekly points and had a splurge day. Wonder what happened to Wendie herself?

oldie45 welcome to the forums! I remember the Wendie plan! Staggering weeklies is a great way to shake your metabolism up and keep the weight loss momentum going.

Annie Banany: I think you are right about the 50 calories. When WW went to Points Plus I think the points were worth about 40 calories, after that you couldn't figure a points equivalence.

I am new here. I lost 30 pounds on the original core plan back in the early 2000s. I kept it off for a long time until cancer + childbirth + pandemic cause it all to come back plus 5 more. I joined WW online but found the new plan less satisfying. I know how to do Core, and still have my old list (which includes avocados and olives. Yay!) I just miss the social support of WW, so Iโm super glad to have found this board. I am on vacation until tomorrow (Sunday) so starting back on Core for real on Monday. It will halo that my husband will be away on a work trip so I only have to feed myself and my kid (who pretty much only eats bagels and hotdogs anyway.) I plan to do a big shop at Whole Foods as soon as I get back tomorrow. FF Greek yogurt. Whole grain pasta. Brown rice and lots of fruit and veggies. I canโt do FF cheese son Iโll just skip it. Plus swimming every day now that the pools are open.
