Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well DotRen - Hope you enjoy your coffee maker. I always want to get one of those coffe makers, even though I don't drink coffee I just think they are fun. But I'm a tea drinker and I've thought about getting an electric pot - but it's just easier to heat a cup of water in the microwave. I'm feeling so conflicted about losing weight. I'm just not motivated or in the right "head" place to do it. I don't want to quit altogether though, but it's so frustrating not feeling motivated when I know how important it is to my health to lose weight I guess I'll just keep focusing on the healthy things I am doing each day and hope that eventually something will click with me again. This time of year is the worst though, I just love all the holiday foods and with the weather getting cooler I want to bake and cook "winter" meals.

cj59, sometimes it' just about making 1 good choice at a time. "all in" can suck at times and put us in a bad mental place.

Good morning
dotren, you sound so positive. Thanks for sharing your meals with us!!
cj, you are making several good choices a day. Give yourself credit for that ;-) (as I think you have told me)
irisinnia, I'm sure that weight will come off fast. Nice you and DH got our for dinner :-)
I am so struggling. I feel like my head is spinning on what plan to follow. I was sort of doing Metabolic that a friend recommended. The last plan I got is like WW so it should be easy to follow and track on my WW app. Why I don't do it I don't know, but I will work at it today.

sunrose49 , the new WW stuff comes out Sunday(?) and a lot of people will be starting over then, so why not give yourself a break until then, maybe give your mind a little free time from dieting? Right now I'm positive that I didn't sleep well lol. Ron and I both work up with stuffy noses, a front blowing in today. B: coffee (1 w/1T cream, 1 w/1oz almond milk) L: Aldi's never any chicken feta spinach sausage, leftover yellow squash D: chicken tacos with low-carb corn tortillas, avocado, and salsa 26WW points (I budgeted 2 sausages and 3 tortillas to get the points up but I probably won't eat 3 tacos), 917 calories, 17g carbs, 60g fat, 86g protein I may do a golden milk latte with almond milk, a turmeric golden milk powder and a splash of cream to get the calories up I like this brand: turmaquik because it doesn't have any added junk. I have added a little stevia, but it's not bad on its own

Hello Everyone sunrose - I hope you can find something that works for you and that you are having a good day. I feel the same way you do. I can't figure out what plan to follow. I feel like no matter what I try it won't work because I just want to eat all the time and think about food so much of the day. I know that many of the WW programs work, as does calorie counting, but I'm just not motivated to work on anything. DotRen - Hope you are feeling better soon. I have problems with the weather fronts too. I had another headache again today and we have a strong front coming through this evening, so I think that is what caused it. That week I had headaches 4 days in a row was a killer, I hope this one goes away with the front. Thanks for the encouragement. I've actually eaten pretty well the past few days. And I'm getting in exercise every day, but I don't have any junk food in the house and it's really making me anxious. I wish I could learn how to control that emotion. It's really like an addiction to constantly think about food. Hope everyone else checking in is doing well.

Hi all. I go to WW every Saturday. But Monday I am going to get the new programs. My doctor wrote a letter she faxed to me stating I am at goal now . I thank her because I can not afford to go to ww but have so much to lose. I became lifetime at age 20 so I can start attending free Saturday once they input the new WW goal weight for free. Of course I need to lose 100 pounds. I bought potatoes sweet and red coming tomorrow morning. They will be zero points on the purple program. I bought chicken today when I went with Russ to the food store. I am making a breast tomorrow morning to cut into 3 pieces for the day. I am having peas too delivered tomorrow morning Frozen peas. I will cook the chicken breast in a copper chef. My oven and stove are unplugged. The copper chef sits on a plate that it cooks on. I thawed the breast and it is in the refrigerator now. I am s so psyched. I could not exercise this week because of my leg. Tomorrow the physical therapist comes. I am going to try the Health Rider and hope it does not hurt my leg. I will try to do 5 minutes. And build up. I used to long ago use this and lost weight well. i want to intersperse x preparing for basic algebra next semester. I want to intersperse it with the Health Rider.

amyrs, sorry about your leg. I remember the health rider! We had one for a long time. It was the only thing I could use after I got out of the hospital that didn't bother my hips or require balance lol. cj59, hope your headaches are better. I took 4 advil at 6 last night, was asleep by 7 and slept until 5:30 this morning (1 break at 3am to go to the bathroom). I usually sleep about 6 hours a night, so I must have really been needing it. sunrose49, hope your day is off to a good start I'm planning on making beef stew today since it's only getting into the low 50s. I'll use a lean round roast cut up, turnips instead of potatoes, carrots, green beans, celery and onion and toss some tomato sauce, beef broth and seasonings in. I have a pack of stew seasoning that I can add in if the flavor needs it. I ran it through WW at 12 points per serving, so not bad at all. I haven't run it through MFP yet but my guesstimate is around 400 calories, 12g carbs, 35g protein and 15g fat, so works with my macros as well

I just ordered an air fryer from Amazon to make my chicken. breasts in. And put broccoli in with the chicken . I wonder I can defrost the chicken but then how long do I cooke the chicken for. Does anyone know? I just had oatmeal with 2 oz of raisins. I am full which I never am from oatmeal. The raisins are 9 points. On purple they will only be the points out of 16. in free style I am getting 26 points.

Hi everyone! I missed you! My computer was down for days! We weren't sure if we were going to be able to save all the files on it, but DH was amazing and was able to back off everything so he could wipe it to fix what was wrong. It kind of feels like a brand new computer. lol Still, it was scary in the interim. amyrs, Congrats on your new air fryer! You'll have to tell us how that works out. Also, I am very confused about your points. I'm not sure how you can have 100 lbs to lose and have the bottom number of points on whatever plan you're on, are you getting these numbers from the app? I hope you find a plan that works for you and can stick with it. DotRen, Sounds delicious! You have a very tasty kitchen. Mine goes through cycles and it's been in a bit of a slump this week. Let us know how the stew turns out. cj59, I'm glad you're eating well and getting your exercise in! That is a rough spot to be in when you're constantly thinking about food. I do so much better on plan when I'm NOT thinking about food, so maybe pre-plan your meals and then try to avoid the thought? I pretty much have it down to a science of what time of day I'm going to get hungry. I almost don't need a clock! lol So if I plan BLSD and eat them at those times, then I really shouldn't have to think about food the rest of the day. Everything else is a no. sunrose49, Thanks for the encouragement! What plans are you debating between? Maybe try sticking to one for a week, then another one for the next week and see how it goes? I hope everyone is having a great day and a wonderful weekend!

amyrs, here's a really good collection of air fryer recipes that has the details of time, temp, etc irisinnia, glad your computer is working The stew was great. The turnips were really mild and had a nice, potato-like texture Farmers market today and a planned cheat meal. The tamale vendor is there today as well as the salsa vendor lol -so I'll probably use low-carb tortillas for chips but have a couple of tamales. Have a great day everyone

Great farmers market. They had a local singer, free coffee and lots of vendors. I picked up some gorgeous cherry tomatoes (heirloom type, kumato, golden, etc) and swiss chard. The tamales were great I only ate 2 of the bean and 2 of the pork, maybe 1oz of chips (I don't care for really thick tortilla chips and these were really thick and had a "fried" taste I didn't like) but the salsa was great. I don't really feel like this was a huge cheat but it was really satisfying (And I skipped the pies, cakes, cobblers, cookies and all that which were available lol) Back on plan now

Good morning
dotren, thanks for sharing the link for air fryer recipes!! You did pretty good at the Farmers Market.
cj, you sound better with the eating.
irisinnia, thanks for your suggestion on the program pick. I think I am going to WW another try and just stick to that. I've done it since 1991 and have been through so many changes they have had over the years. Glad you got your computer back. It is scary to think you might lose everything.
Amy, let us know when you get your air fryer. I hope you like it. It should make cooking much simplier.
Waving to anyone I missed. I miss so much info when I miss a day or two. You ladies are awesome :-)
I am working on tracking everything that goes in my mouth today.
