Good Morning!!
Yesterday I stayed OP,tracked, and had my water. Took a short walk at lunch and walked 2 miles after supper. Gave my resignation and they allowed it to be effective Friday since it is the end of the pay period. Yesterday was very boring as they had not assigned anything to me. The rest of the week I will be doing f/u calls for discharges from the hospital.
Carol: Great job on the added miles. That is awesome.
Cait: Too bad about the red zone but great job on all the walking. Glad you are doing the PT exercises and you seeing the results. I am glad the AQI is improving and the fire is more contained.

I walked a little with my sister this morning, and I finished up the 2 miles this afternoon. I just finished stretching.

Good Afternoon Challengers!
Yesterday I did 3/6 of my main HHs, went above my red zone of pts, did 1/2 micro habits “50 pushaways after dinner.” I ate DHs snack, more than the previous night, stayed up reading and eating, but at least I stopped did JGTB at 11 pm deadline.
Yesterday we walked 2 mi am.
I did 28 mins of floor PT which includes some abs and stretching, leg lifts. I’m pretty sore but hopeful this will help protect my back.
I give myself a C- in Nutrition, an A in PE, and a B- in Health for yesterday. All my meals were healthy and appropriate except that evening snack. But I can see progress in the lesser amounts, better choices, and the JGTB. If I could get myself to measure my servings if I eat DHs snacks that would be a small step forward. Not “all or nothing thinking.”
AQI here in Long Beach this am was “Moderate, but now at 3:30 pm AQI is in 204, “Very Unhealthy.” That seems to be the daily pattern. The fire here in the forest above Pasadena is 17% contained.
Up North the fires in our area are 22% contained and AQI is “Good.”

Good Morning!!
I had a good OP day yesterday. I added 3 miles yesterday with some walking and moving while listening to a podcast before work and then walking at lunch and last night.
Cait: Good job on your walk and exercises. Work in progress is what I always say. At least your meals were healthy. Measure measure and get yourself to bed.

I walked 2 miles this afternoon, and I just finished stretching. Looks like I need to stretch 5 of the next 7 days to meet my monthly goal. I can do it!

Yesterday I did all 6 of my main HHs, stayed in my green zone of pts, HEZ, blue dot, did 1/2 micro habits “50 pushaways after dinner.” I ate “seconds” of salted pistachios with evening snack but my pts were low the rest of the day and I didn’t keep eating.
Yesterday we walked 2 mi am, I did my floor PT and my 50 pushaways.
I give myself a B in Nutrition, an A in PE, and a B+ in Health for yesterday.
AQI here in Long Beach this am was in 60’s “Moderate,” but now at 7:40 pm it’s 223 “Very Unhealthy.”

I had a good OP eating day yesterday. I feel short on my steps due to meetings and Bible study last night. Only added 1 mile of workout.
Carol: You will definitely meet your stretching goal. You are doing a great job.

It's Thursday!
I spent the morning with my sister, but her foot hurts and so we didn't walk. I walked 2 miles after I got home, and I just finished stretching.

Good Morning!! I stayed OP yesterday til I decided to go for a Chinese buffet last night. I felt miserable and bloated afterwards and really did not eat as much as I would have in the past. I did add 2 miles though.
I hardly slept last night not sure if it was from food or my mind just would not shut down.

eating healthy but unhealthy ice cream sandwiches. So hopefully I will et up the box of ice cream sandwiches today and then tomorrow start over with chili vegetarian.

TGIF!
It's a little warm again here, but I took myself for a nice bike ride this morning (counting 3.5 miles here), and I just finished stretching.
CAIT -- does the air quality index rise later in the day because of the exhaust from traffic, or does it have to do with the fires? WTG with your Pt!
KELLY -- sorry about the bloated feeling after Chinese dinner. That's an issue for me, too! My fingers used to look like little sausages after even a small lunch of Chinese food. I hope you have a better work week next week.
AMY -- those ice cream sandwiches are hard to resist! I used to struggle to think of a dessert to take to friends' houses (because DH and I rarely eat desserts) until one day a friend, whom I had asked to bring dessert to our home, showed up with Dilly Bars! WOW! Changed my life! Since then, Dilly Bars, Dove Bars, or ice cream sandwiches are my "go-to" when I need a dessert!
