Good Evening Challengers! Yesterday I did all 6 of my main HHs, stayed in my green zone of pts, HEZ, blue dot. I did both of my micro habits “No seconds with evening snack,” and “50 pushaways after dinner.” Thank you God. Yesterday we walked 2 mi am. I give myself an A in Nutrition, a B in PE, and an A- in Health for yesterday. We discovered that the AQI we’ve been getting from Weather Channel app AQI is a worse reading than the official AQI, so we’re going to go by the official one. I’ve been getting a lot of office work done. I’m planning to attend the WW Zoom meeting tomorrow at 7 am Pacific, 9 am CT, 10 am ET, if any want to join 🤩 Waving at everyone! Have a great day! Cait

It's Saturday!
CAIT -- GFY sticking with your HHs!
I have a question for you all, not thread related. We live in a city with a lot of brick houses and a lot of stone houses (ours is stone). A couple of years ago, we noticed some of the red brick houses (mostly small ranches) were being painted, usually light to mid-gray. Surprisingly, I think they look pretty good and "fresh." A couple of weeks ago, a stone house in our neighborhood was painted dark, dark, almost navy blue! Today I noticed one of my favorite houses, a large smooth-stone house, has also been painted almost black! It had been such a soothing house, but now it hurts to look at it! Both these dark houses have bright white trim.
Am I late to this trend? Of course, people can do what they want with their houses, but as DH said today, "Ouch!" when I drove him past my formerly favorite house.
I walked 2 miles this morning, and I just finished stretching.

Good Morning Challengers!
Yesterday DD1 and DSIL and our 2 DGDs came over for afternoon and dinner. It was so good to see them! I admit some hugging did go on but we’re all pretty good with our isolating in general.
I did 2/6 of my main HHs, went above my red zone of pts, but not horribly. I did 1/2 of my micro habits “50 pushaways after dinner.”
Yesterday we walked 2 mi am and I walked another mile to and from the grocery store.
I give myself a C in Nutrition, a B in PE, and a B- in Health for yesterday. I made some really good choices as well as poor ones - ate a lot of chips, but I did put them in a bowl and weigh them. And my meals were very healthy.
The fire above Pasadena is now 65% contained and AQI is better. We sat outside all afternoon and early evening and it was so pleasant. The fires up north in our area are 27% contained.
Waving at everyone! Have a great day!

It's Sunday!
CAIT -- thanks for the goodies! It's amazing to me that even scribbling on a notepad if I can't stop thinking about something can help so much! It's like, "I wrote it down, so now I don't have to think about it any more tonight." I'm glad you had such a nice visit and were able to be outside!
I finished stitching a major-for-me needlepoint project, so I'm happy about that! Now, I need to block and finish it. It's cool and a little rainy here, so I had to find my hooded jacket for my 2.5 mile walk this morning. I just finished stretching, too.

Apologies for not reading posts for a week til now. I’ve been working a lot. Finishing that big project sort of broke a mental and willingness logjam and I’ve been a busy bee. Also trying to do my PT which I’d been talking about doing but not doing for a year or more. I credit WW for this with the recent topics of small changes, exercise identity, etc.
AMY - glad you got back on track before you gained a lot. I’ve noticed that’s an improvement in my own behavior also - getting back on track sooner than in the past - I think it’s an NSV with improved Healthy Habits to rebound more quickly from veering off into old unhealthy habits. A sign of progress.
KELLY - Whoa! Resignation! Clearly I missed something. But you sound relaxed and your eating and exercise seem stable so it must be a good thing.
CAROL - I’m not sure why the AQI rises thru the day but I suspect it’s that the onshore breezes clean the air overnight, and then the fire and cars and other pollutants build up thru the day. re the get together with our friends - in our case the wife is more like us and the husband not as much but not polar opposites like with yours. However we always avoid political discussions anyway. The whole subject is uncomfortable, upsetting, even with people we have a lot of agreement with. So nice you keep walking with your Sis. My bro has been sick, not covid, but I worry anyway, which is useless, so I pray. GFY stretching and your goal for the month in sight. GFY with the bike, walks, stretching. Re the “trend” of painting houses a dark color - I googled it and apparently you’re right - it’s a trend - but not my taste at all. We’ve seen a few here in LB but fortunately there’s a culture here favoring preservation of historic “looks” - or at least light colors. GFY finishing the needlepoint project. I’d forgotten you did that.

Good Morning!!
I had a nice weekend Yesterday was a sort of a DOR I did a lot of meal prepping after Church so no reason not to eat at home if I am tired after work. I added 5 miles between Fri-Sat.
Cait: Yes, I resigned from my previous position and stay with my office as a nurse/tasking coordinator. I just was not getting a good feeling with the changes and really did not want to be stuck at home 40 hours a week. I will in my new position work from home some days once I am trained and they get in the equipment I will need.
Looks like you are having good HH days and bad ones. It seems to be my road lately too.Great job staying consistent with the activity.
Carol: Good job on finishing the needle point project and getting in those miles and stretching.
Amy: Hope you have a great OP week.
Waving to all and sending skinny vibes!!

It’s Monday!
I walked 2 miles during my volunteer gig this evening. It was a busy time in the garden, which was fun! No stretching today, but there’s always tomorrow!
Have a good week everyone!

I started eating over Septemberf 28, I am eating 30 oz of chili man chili vegetarian. 2 cans. I bought grapes yesterday at thne4 food store. besides chili man chili. When I get Social Security Friday I will order chili man chili from Amazon. Then I don't have to buy it at the store where there isn't enough. Then I can buy fruit. I signed up for the WW Studio Saturday.. I go once a month to have etools. I gained about 4 pounds last week. I really like what I am eating and it is vegan. I really want to lose weight. I am going to try WATP soon. Maybe not till next week. I am out of shape. I moved the stationary bike into the other room to make more space.

Good Morning!!
I had a good first day. I screened at the door in the morning and did some tasking in the afternoon. It was a little hectic since one of the girls called off.
I stayed OP and added 3 miles with WATP and outside walk.
Cait: Good job on your HHs.
Carol: Great job with your miles.
Amy: Good luck with your journey and your WI.
Waving to all. Happy Walking!!
