Good morning. yesterday I got up at 4:30 to go to a new spin class with a gym friend as the instructor. I HAD to go to at least part of of, online it said the class started at 5:30 but it actually started at 5:45. So I took Mojo with me and left her in the back of my CRV and went in the gym. I was so worried about her but she was perfectly happy back there, I took her bed too. I got a shower at the gym and left from there to go up to my sons in East Stroudsburg which is a little over 2 hours from me. It is not a good route to get there either, several smaller roads so I didn't want too much commuter traffic. It worked out great, was tired when I got home but that is nothing new either. Today I am doing a thing at my church from 9-3 working to re-organize the Sunday school type activities in the church. But apparantly I also made plans with my SIL from CT who is coming down for a shower tomorrow so I might have to leave church a little early. Yikes! I have to GO to church at 5 so I don't know. She texted me about this but hasn't called me back. Yes, I am lucky about my dog and work. I don't think the person running things now would have agreed to it but I guess she is 'grandfathered in'!
Cait, I have had a couple things removed that were nothing but it always made me uneasy waiting.
Kelly, nice you volunteer for the SPCA.
Carol, I do like that we can see you in the picture.
Amy, sorry the food didn't agree with you.

Good Morning Walkers! Last night we had dinner out on the deck and I was late home from work. I marched in place 30 mins while watching tv and then another 10 mins before bed for 2 Miles - plus my 20 min 1 mi in the am made 3 miles for the day. Green zone of pts JGTB and no regrets! Trying to get in 3 mi per day to make up for low Miles in March and also just get back on track in general. Woke up this am to the pitter patter of little raindrops and went downstairs to move the patio furniture under the overhang. Today I need to do bills and probably some work. I have some stressful work things to deal with. I'm marching in place while posting this. It's a good motivation. Multitasking. Better than sitting. I really get into sitting! I get Sitting momentum :/ This article helped kickstart me re diseases of sitting: reply.nutritionaction.com/dm?id=5A6CF0864D5ED8274CB1C9E530604FE28BCEA14BFB4A2612RUTH - wow you are really attacking the day! Enjoy the rest of your busy day. GFY making exercise a priority. Waving at everyone! Have a great day! Cait

Good morning. WW this morning but I am not weighing, going tho. The thing at church was good yesterday, I left a little bit early cuz my SIL in CT got here so we took a walk at the park. Was good for her after sitting in the car 4 hours and good for me after sitting at the church for 5 hours, at least I could get up every so often. Car rides are brutal!!
Cait, good job on walking while writing on here!
Amy, hope you feel better.

Ruth, you are so busy -- do you have time to breathe? Cait, there's nothing better than dinner on the deck! Yesterday (Saturday) was the 'opening day' of our pond, just off the patio. It's one of my favorite days of the spring, and we are very happy that all our fish lived through the winter, and we even have a little frog. Amy, sorry you are not feeling well. Catching up: Thursday, I walked to lunch and around campus -- counting 3 miles. Friday I got in some campus walking (2 miles) but skipped Aquafit because it was a beautiful day! Yesterday and today I did quite a bit of heavy gardening, so I'm counting 3 miles for that. I just finished stretching, but I'm not counting it because the last time I said I was going to stretch I didn't! DH is putting our new bike rack on the car, so if we go for a ride I'll BBL and add those miles. I think I'll count 20 minutes on the bike as 1 mile, just to be consistent with my walking miles. 77.5/250 miles 400 stairs 75 stretching

Good Evening Walkers! Yesterday I ate DH's peanut butter pretzels for dinner & stayed up late last night and ate DHs skinny pop popcorn, above my red zone of pts :/ but I've done worse. Fortunately I haven't bought trail mix and only ate 1/4 cup measured nuts. 1 mile marching in place yesterday am Today we walked 4.3 miles to & along the beach & to lunch and back. Beautiful day & a cool breeze. View from the pier of Long Beach CA skyline. You can see a cruise ship on L & the Queen Mary just to the right of it. AMY - GFY going to the WW WI. sorry you lost weight the hard way by being ill :-( Hope you're feeling better. CAROL - yay for opening day on your pond & survival of the fish! It sounds lovely. GFY with all the walking, stairs, stretching & planning for biking. RUTH - glad you could visit with SIL & walk in the park together. Waving at everyone! Have a great day! Cait

Good evening,
I have been really busy this week and have not posted, but have been walking. I missed Thursday, that is my WW day, my friend went with me and we shopped after I was through. Was six pounds below goal, happy about that. I will have to check my calendar to see how many miles I had last week. I have a small pond in my yard today the GKs and I cleaned the filter and worked in the yard. It looks so much better. The weather is hot 95* already. Everything is in full bloom and we have to enjoy it because in July and August it will be so hot ,it just about burns up . Nancy

Amy, that doesn't sound good. Take care of yourself. Nancy, we love our little pond! It does look so much better after a good cleaning in the spring! Let's see, I went to Aquafit this evening (2 miles), walked up 92 stairs, and got in another mile of campus walking:
