SATURDAY! KELLY -- Good job walking before work and losing most of the break weight! AMY -- Fingers crossed for a successful outcome to your MOW debacle. CAIT -- Have a safe trip back south! Your are finding more consistency with your HHs again -- GFY! It's too bad your PT takes so long (I remember 45 minutes, right?); it's hard enough getting a 15-20 minute stretch in some days! Our anniversary is tomorrow, so we're headed to our neighborhood French bistro tonight to celebrate. I went to water fitness yesterday (2 miles), and I stretched today. 113/250 miles 37/75 stretching Stretching: 2018:141;2019:192; 2020:182 2021: Jan.15; February:13; March16; April:17; May:16; June:16; July: 5/31

Yesterday no exercise, as our drive ended up being 12-1/2 hours. The car said the outdoor temp got up to 117 F. CAROL - Happy Anniversary and congratulations! Enjoy your dinner out at the bistro. A bit different from last year I bet. I got on the library waitlist for “The Huntress” by Kate Quinn, ebook. It will be a while before it’s available. Is it a book club book? Let me know what you think. GFY with the water fitness and stretching.
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.

This week, treat your regular dinner time as if it were a special occasion. Whether you're setting the table for one or five, follow our tips in the graphic above for a more mindful—and happier!—eating experience. www.weightwatchers.com/us/m/cms/article/your-healthy-meals-deserve-some-fanfare-heres-whyAnd the recipe cards:

Good Morning!!
I had a nice weekend. Eating was not too bad I did have a party to attend but did not over do it. Last night I was craving something crunchy and salty so ate some veggie straws. A portion is about 35-36 but pretty sure I ate more than that since I took the bag to my chair instead of my usual counting out a portion.
I added 4 miles Fri- Sat. No exercise on Sunday. We went to Church in the morning and then went for lunch at a nearby diner. After that I went to Aldi for some fruit and veggies. I dropped the DH at Lowes as he needed to pick up a few things. By the time we got home it was almost 2. I shamefully spent the rest of the day reading and watching movies.
Cait: Good job on your good days despite traveling. Such beautiful pictures. Lititz is a very beautiful area. Glad you had safe travels. The fires and the low Lake level is sad.
Carol: Happy Belated Anniversary. Good job on the continued exercise.
Waving to all. Happy Walking!!

Yesterday we walked to breakfast 3.6 mi, and later we walked to pick up takeout lunch .4 mi, so 4.0 mi for the day and finished the week with 14.5 mi, making up for the travel day.
KELLY - GFY with the”pretty good” eating this past weekend. I wish I had measured out a portion last night - also that I had JGTB!! I’m glad you were able to enjoy your Sunday reading and watching movies - no shame in that!
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.

Yesterday we walked 2.1 mi before breakfast. I got Thai takeout for dinner because DH had been working so hard trying to clean up the yard mess, and he wanted to watch the home run derby. The yard guy we had hired apparently stopped coming after the first month we were gone. Not sure why.
KELLY - GFY OP, tracking and 2 mi! A good start to the week. Yes measuring is so important - but then sometimes I just “throw caution to the wind” 😳😵💫 Fortunately I don’t do it as severely as in the past.
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.

I got a delivery of Whole Foods frozen brown rice I like it I cook it fo r8 minutes in a microwave rice cooker . It makes 4 cups. I steam red delicious apples in. microwave steamer after I core it and cut into slices. I steam with a microwave steamer and add it to 2/3 cup brown rice. I eat 6 apples a day and 6 portions of brown rice. I am so happy. I have enough till I shop the 19th again with our last expanded food share. I dropped out of fall school they are sending back money I paid. They put me in medical coding. But I faxed Department of Vocationa Rehabilitation to start in spring. By then I will see if they agree. I bought my own exact copy of the wheel.chair. I am going to weigh in at Weight Watchers Thursday with russ and Scott. I will bring my wheel chair and a walker to stand on the scale. I was metalbby abused by the t4eam that invaded my home. I have an ombudsman and my lawyer will appear at the hearing. I will get a new team but this one will appear. My ombudsmN IS ASKING FOR the int3ernal guidelines they used to determine the denial and the last functional screen. my lawyer will look for a grant for food. but if not going to school can recuperate and start hopefully to not eat junk I go for bone density tomorrow because my pap and bone doctor both agreed I need it sooner. I leave at 9awm tomorrow. It is on the third floor. I hope someone can push my wheel chair. I have nothing medal I wear so I think it will be ok. I have an X-ray July 27. and I see the orthopedist. the knee is still painful. I asked Bobby the caretaker today to take me to Woodman's and Whole Foods on the way home. I will ask Scott to go in. I will bring a empty frozen rice bag. I think I will be able to pay off Amazon in 6 months with my brother paying 85. I pay enough I think I will be able to pay enough to do it by January. Then I can just on working to pay off Discover. We can use Discover at the store where I shop. But it will take about 3 years≥≥ I paid for th wheels chair that is exactly like the one they want to take away. I will have it her in time to let them take this away. I sent back a iPhone that was refurbished by UPS . when it is back I will get a bet refund to reduce the Amazon card. Each month when it starts I set up my budget. I will be3 able to afford what I am eating . I am getting a table to put the arm exerciser on. It looks sturdy but it is for the apartment. This week I don't have the physical therapist Isaac but Tammy Thursday morning. I see the occupational therapist Friday. I have the appeal hearing with the administrative judge August 11 . I hope Iwill have the guidelines and functional screen the governors office called and they asked me what they could. I told the helper guidelines and functional screen.

TUESDAY!
I guess I've been MIA for a couple of days--OOPS!
CAIT -- 12.5 hours is a loooooonnnnng driving day, in my book. I'm glad you made it safely, in spite of the heat. Good job getting back on track with your HHs and walking.
I am about 1/2 way through The Huntress (I had to put it down to read our bookgroup selection, Interior Chinatown), and I think I like it. It follows 3 people during/after WWII, so I'm waiting to see how it will be tied together. Our group talked about reading it, but because it's a little hard to get from the library right now, we'll read it later. I'm reading it at the suggestion of a friend. I'll have to place another hold on The Huntress because others are waiting. Let me know what you think!
KELLY -- an afternoon off is a good R & R! You're doing great! Those veggie straws can be addictive, even though it seems a lot like eating air when I'm eating them.
AMY -- I hope everything works out for you!
Sunday & Monday I went to water fitness (4 miles, total), and I biked today (counting 3 miles), and I stretched today.

Good Morning!!
I added a 3 mile WATP yesterday. Meals were tracked including a sliver of Black Forest cake and still stayed in points. My meals for the day were mostly zero or very low.
Cait: Congrats on a good day with Healthy Habits.
Carol: You are doing an AWESOME job with your consistency with your workouts.
Amy: So sorry that you have so much on your plate. I hope the hearing goes well and you are able to get the MOW.
Waving to all!! Happy Walking!!

Yesterday we walked 2.1 mi before breakfast.
We had mail stolen from our mail slot yesterday and I have to do credit freezes today.
AMY - sorry you’ve had these problems with the team that is supposed to help you, but glad you have supportive friends and family. You are resourceful in advocating for what you need and getting professional help. It’s good you’re focusing on healthy eating and your budget.
CAROL - I’m just starting “The Book of Lost Names” by Kristin Harmel and it seems really good. It will be a while before I get “The Huntress” GFY with the water fitness, biking and stretching.
KELLY - good work with the 3 mi WATP and tracking, and keeping the cake amount so low! Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.
