It's April and this year is leap year! Let's challenge ourselves to take that leap of faith that this year is OUR year and we are going to accomplish our goals! Lets SPRING into Action in April.
For the next 4 weeks we are going to take care of our fabulous selves with healthy foods and regular exercise. Sure, it's hard work but aren't we worth it? -Do something each day that truly makes you happy!
WELCOME EVERYONE, anytime, and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycle, spin, swim, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, Pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday through Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-in (WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here. - Join in on the August water-exercise challenge if you want to, but no pressure if you want to do something else.
This challenge runs From April 1 through April 30,2024.

Good Morning!!
I saw a pic of me yesterday and not being negative, but it really makes me want to spring into action. I have been planning for April 1 to be a turning point anyway. I bought fruit and vegetables and tuna for work. That seems to be my main area to improve right now.

Mo you go ! I cant believe it. I weighed myself this morning. nAnd I weighed 177. Wo I know it may be. unlikely. But I was hoping somehow for my seventh birthday April 20 I could weigh 170. That would be a little more than 2 pounds a week which is doubtful. I hav found eating primarily plot base food is the only weigh I can lose weight. I found a bathing suit that fits. And I bought the same one got the wrong isize so going down the street while our postoffice is still there to mail it back and get the right size. it is one pice black and then I would 2 bathing suits. if the occasion arose that I needed a bathing suit. I mean its a large size buy need that and Scott says I looked pretty goo . I see my arms are king of large b ut have to since many years I have been so determin4ed to get to a normal weight. I suppose Weight Watchers if the still exist would not let be 177 and go for no price. I would have to be 150 our I have have way between 5.5 and 5.6 now. And so I I dontknow what the WW weight should be. I would just keep me at 5 6 fo rWW and say 155. and pay 15 dollars for missing meetings. Tha would mean I would have to lose 22 pounds to go to Weight Watchr=ers for free and I don't know if buy body could do that since I am not ecxvrddvely exercising. A physical therapist told me to keep the treadmill and g4t rid of the rebounder so Scott helped me throw away there rebounder and it made room for a table I use fo rmnedocatopjs and stuff instead which leaves me more room to the window. I made a budget too. I am eating primarily oatmeal n half a cup to make and then a 1/4 cup o raisins. it is easy for me to make and I can afford it. And it is filling. Then I really like for a treat Brerys low carb iceman a 2/3 cup is a nice portion and it is 100 calories. I am going to the Great Dane with Russ and Scott for my birthday. I may ge t pretzel and a diet soda. or soup and a pretzel.

Hope you all had a good Easter. Passover is about April 22 this year. We vote tomorrow. But it may snow. And our polling place at the last minute is a park shelter near us where bringing heaters. We lost our polling place for twos election and had to find one quick in my district. I voted absentee bu Scott and I want to walk up to the park and see how it is on Election Day.

Good morning, everyone!
I had a good day yesterday. I had taken off early to go with Jim to get his new glasses --well at least the eye exam. You know how it goes. He doesn't get his actual glasses for 2 weeks. Anyway, my custom is to go out to eat if I get out of work early, but I had eaten lunch at work, so I made myself not eat out. I made dinner for us when we got home. On the way home, I stopped at the store to buy more food to help me stick to my plan. Some cottage cheese (I have to get the 4% milkfat) some romaine lettuce, green pepper and whole grain bread.
My challenge today is to make dinner with only the correct portion for myself. I make dinner for both of us but always make too many portions. I don't want to make separate dinners.

I ate sporadically pretty bad today rain an endow today and its Election Day and my fried Russel is working at our polling place a park shelter in the cold boy I am really glad he is almost done his shift

We are supposed to get some rain and snow at the end of the week. I was really hoping it was done for the season. Hopefully its light.
I did well today but really have to talk myself down sometimes. I want to go out and drink and eat lol

I am going to Credit union with Russ. We have an outside polling station in our district in our presidential primary yesterday. Russell worked outside while it ws raining. the put some tarp on the roof later when it snowed.
I also will save enough for higher rent later this morning. I have enough for the next 12 months in savings as of tomorrow. I know now that my rent will increase a certain amount for 12 months in November . But I don't don't know if I will get the SSI soon or not. So I would have to pay the higher rent form higher SS a now if I have that in saving I will be fine. Then I will have to save enough if I have to pay back SSA one month and I will do that in May. so that I will find the rest of the summer. By August or September have to start preparing for my shier rent for November. I will go in for a informal hearing within 60 days before the final decision by SSA. I have asked for one document that is in file now. Then I think I would be prepared. I also have printed my March Statement to show that I have only put in coins to be separated that I put into checking account. about 4 dollars and some cents. I did not eat the best yesterday. I think I will eat better today.

I am really trying hard to make sure I have stuff to take to work to avoid spontaneous eating. Especially by not buying stuff in the vending machine.
My goal today is simple. Do some exercise even if it is only 1 mile of WATP.
